Operation error when scanning
Ensure you have the most up-to-date drivers for your i1420: http://graphics.kodak.com/DocImaging/US/en/Support_Center/Document_Scanners/Departmental/i1420_Scanner/Support/Drivers_And_Downloads/i1400_Series_Scanner_Drivers/index.htm Looks like v3.09 is the most recent. If you are unsure of your version, download and install v3.09, if your drivers are out of date, the install will update your drivers. Test the scanner using the Scan Validation Tool (SVT). This program should be located in the Kodak folder in your start menu. SVT will test the scanner's functionality at a basic level alleviating all third party software variables. Please consult your owner's manual if you are unsure how to initiate a scan in SVT. Good afternoon. I need help. We have a KODAK i1420
If the software driver is loaded (it must be otherwise you will get e red light ) check the Image guides (the plastic window strips) check the whit reference on the underside of the guides is in place and in good condition
