Cannot scan or print with

Try uninstalling, then installing the driver fresh. NOT an update. You could also have a bad printer cable, borrow one from a friend. No sense buying one as almost all new printers come with one!

this E-91 is your printer waste pad and needs to be replace and then reset with software let me no if you need it

Scan document error

This is typically a software issue and has nothing to do with the scanner itself. Try these steps out and see if it helps.
  • At the Control Panel go to "Find and Fix Problems" under System and Security
  • Next, under Programs select "Run Programs made for previous versions of Windows"
  • A box will appear (Program Compatibility). Press the "Next." It will begin to detect programs that may have compatibility problems with windows.
  • Scroll down and select your scanning software, then select "Next"
  • Select "Fix Using Recommended Settings". It will next prompt you to test their recommended setting by starting the program. Select "start the Program"
  • If the test works, it will ask you to save the new settings.

Epson cx5900. We are only printing half vertical

HiTurn the printer off and on.Check the printing properties on your application.Make sure the printer is set as the default printer.Check the cartridge installations and make sure its correctly done.

Error E-90

error E-90 means that something is stopping the ink carriage from moving its full extent. Open the scanner and check that the ink carriage lid is firmly locked down, check along the path of the carriage for any foreign/loose objects. Use an alcohol wipe or similar & gently wipe the plastic registration strip that goes through the top rear of the ink carriage. Be careful not to dislodge or damage it. If the carriage moves when you switch it on, pull out the power cable when it is across to the left and check for loose gears or foreign objects in the gears on R/H side. Hope this helps.

I have just replaced my

Hi, If you didn't used your inkjet printer for a long time the most common problem is that the nozzles of the print head are clogged with ink. The printing device consists of a print head and cartridges with ink. When you change the cartridges that does not mean you change the print head, like in some other models. Now you can choose the "head cleaning" option from the printer settings a couple of time. If this does not help you have two options - to get the device to service center or buy a new one. The second option is the cheaper one I suppose. And remember for inkjet printers you must print at least 1 page per week to keep head from clogging with ink. Hope this helps Alex

How to solve the problem

You can follow these procedure in cleaning the print head , or click HERE for illustrated procedure on how to do the cleaning.

Switch on the printer and be sure that it is connected to your computer. Insert a couple of pieces of paper into the printer.

Go to the Control Panel and click on "Printers and Faxes." Right-click the Epson printer that you need to clean and go to "Printing Preferences." Select the "Maintenance" or "Head Cleaning" tab.

Select the option for a "Head Cleaning." Perform the actions requested by the Epson wizard in order to start the cleaning. Your printer will start working and then the cleaning process will begin. Do not play with the printer while it is cleaning and don't attempt to print anything while the print head is being cleaned.

When the cleaning is complete, select "Print Nozzle Check" under your printing preferences dialog box and then "Print."

E-90

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors whilebeing in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC anduninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connectthe Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now checkthe printer properties to see the ink levels.
