Our company has a Ricoh Aficio 20515P

Hi, you can add email addresses one of two ways:

1. Directly from the copier: Press the User Tools button and then go into System Settings. Under the Admin Tools tab, there is a button for Address Book Management (you might have to scroll down to find it). If you go into the Address Book you can select New Program to add a new email address (and add any other information for that address that you want, such as authentication info or a display name). Just make sure to save the address before exiting out.

2. From your computer: You can add email addresses from your computer by opening your web browser and typing in the copier's IP address. The Ricoh Web Image Monitor will appear. It may or may not ask you to log in -- if it does, use whatever username and password you set up. There should be an option for the Address Book on the main page, or you might have to hunt for it, but once you find it you can add new addresses easily.

If you have a lot of email addresses to add, it will probably be a lot easier to do it from your computer than from the copier. Hope that helps!

RICOH AFICIO FPC 222 SF SHOWS SC 300 ERROR, WON'T

sc300 is a high voltage output error. The machine detected a voltage level that wasn't where it was supposed to be. If this error only occurs once, reset the machine and it should run fine.

If the error recurs or if you can't clear the error, there is more likely a serious problem. Check the connectors leading to and from your high voltage power supply and your engine board. Sometimes a loose connector can cause this error.

If the problem still persists, there is likely a problem with either the high voltage power supply or the engine board. Contact your local Ricoh dealership (or the company you bought the printer from) to see about getting the machine serviced and the defective part replaced.

How to print envelopes aficio ricio mp c4500

On an MP-C4500, envelopes must be printed using the bypass tray (the fold-out tray on the right hand side). Put the envelope in face-down and tighten the two fences so the envelope is snug.

When printing the envelope, make sure the print driver is set for the correct envelope size. If envelopes tend to jam in the printer, try setting the bypass paper type for thick paper.

Ricoh CL 7100 fuser jam.

The grinding noise is the clashing of gears. The fuser is composed of 2 rollers, a metal or ceramic with a heater inside (bulb) and a silicon roller to apply pressure. The 'hot' roller is geared and the silicon roller can be geared or free floating. There is at least 1 paper sensor in the the fuser to let the unit know whether paper is there and there when it should or should not be. Sometimes, the sensor gets slightly dislodged and can actually cause a jam. If you are hearing a gear clash, the paper is being pushed through the machine and instead of being pushed through the fuser, it stops because the fuser rollers are not turning. The rest of the machine keeps pushing, crinkling the paper.
If there is crinkling, then gears that drive the fuser need to be checked. It is this gear cluster and/or the fuser that need to be replaced.
