You can't it's only a Black & White Laser Printer so will only take a Black Toner Cartridge.

check the paper feed track,cause there is paper in there no biggie. Take some canned air r long needle nose pliers and a flashlite and go at it . There is always a back that comes off or lid that pops up for access because it is a pretty common occurrence. I don't know the model personally or I would tell you the access panel,check it out on line if you cant find it. or call brother.

I have a similar printer. Sometimes the bottom paper tray gets stuck or caught. Make sure the printer is on a flat surface.

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Pull the paper tray all the way out.
3. Take out all the paper and then place the tray back in.
4. Turn the machine on and let it try to print without paper.
5. When the light comes on add paper hit the button and you should be good to go.

When the back output tray is pulled down, the printer has a straight paper path from the manual feed slot through to the back of the printer. Use this paper feed and output method when you want to print on thick paper, labels or envelopes.


Open the back cover

Open the manual feed slot cover.

Using both hands, slide the manual feed slot paper guides to the width of the paper that you are going to use.

Using both hands, put one piece of paper or one envelope in the manual feed slot until the front edge of the paper or envelope touches the paper feed roller. When you feel the machine pull in the paper, let go.

• Put the paper into the manual feed slot with the side to be printed face up.
• Make sure that the paper or envelope is straight and in the proper position on the manual feed slot. If it is not, the paper or the envelope may not be fed properly, resulting in a skewed printout or a paper jam.
• Do not put more than one piece of paper in the manual feed slot at any one time, as it may cause a jam.
• If you put any Media (paper, envelope and so on) in the manual feed slot before the printer is in the Ready state, the media may be ejected without being printed on.

Locate and check the printer drum. You should be able to see the mark that is causing the marks on your page. It could be a scratch or toner that the wiper is not picking up because a nick or something under it. Try cleaning the drum with a very soft dry cloth and inspect it again. If the mark is still there the drum will have to be replaced. Do Not Try To Clean The Drum With Any Type Of Solvent!

For resolving the error first properly check the paper jam bcoz any small paper also make the error see the printer drum side therefore you find any paper then remove that one, second check your printer cartridge ink level if low level then change the cartridge third check the you have properly close the all door of printer....

there is something wrong with the settings of your printer, you need to fix the settings, also double check the cartridge if it was placed on the right position.
