Hi, the drum is the part where you insert the new cartridge toner, some times when you replace the toner need to clean the small filament in the drum unit, is very simple, ther is a blue part, slide 2 o 3 times and return to his original position marked with a arrow, maybe this solve your problem,

you need to install a new drum and then reset the drum counter: 1.- Open front door 2.- Change the drum Unit 3.- Press Go button and keep pressing until the 4 lights turn on 4.- Release the button and close the door

Please try to re align the print heads and service the carraige assembly of the printer ( Place where you slot in your cartridge). if it doesnt work then there is a leakage on the ink piping system.

Replace the Ink service station.

Replacing the drum on these machines is pretty simple. Leaving the power on, open the hatch at the front and remove the toner/drum assembly inside. You may need to lift it slightly then pull toward youself firmly. The toner cartridge sits inside the drum unit. Depress the green tab on the left corner and lift the toner cartridge out. Transfer the toner cartridge to the new or rebuilt drum (DR2125), press it firmly in to place. Return the drum/toner assembly to the printer, pushing it in as far as it will go. Press and hold the red stud left hand side in line with the lights until ALL the lights are on. Then release the stud and close the front hatch. and you have replaced the drum and reset the drum page count. The machine should then have only the blue ready light on

check your print jobs and be sure your printers memory is not full or has errors. reinstall drivers if not from brother website

Need to replace drum and reset the counter

(Essentially the cartridge/drum unit should not be in the printer when you reset it)

1) Open front door
2) Remove the cartridge/drum unit
3) Hold down front button until all lights come on
4) Put cartridge/drum unit back in
5) Close the front door

The Drum life should be reset.

Try to unplug the power from the print, wait 1 minute then plug back in.

This may remove the error.

If you are getting "clean corona wire" on your PC and the toner light on the machine is solid, you need to change your toner cartridge.
This is a bug in the brother software.
