The error has to do to with the purge cam switching not coming in, this is an internal problem and a service center needs to repair it. if you can not find someone locally, you can use us.

i do not believe this unit has a chip on the printer cartridge. it looks at the level of the ink. take the cartridge out and look at the clear area, do you see ink through it. if not, there is not enough ink in the cartridge to signal the printer that the cartridge is usable.

• Lift the lid to where the connections cable is.

• Clean the clear strip on the carriage assy. Solution 3:

your Printer need to RESET Just contact the service center.

You may not have reset the drum counter. If multi-function machine open front hatch , press clear or options button. Display should read "change drum?" then press number 1 on keypanel. Display should read "accepted" then close hatch. If the machine is printer only locate the "go" button on the front left on top of the printer. Open the front hatch and locate the stud under where the "go" button was. Press and hold the stud until all the lights are illuminated. Relase the stud and close the hatch.

Hi Judy, Please follow the steps posted below: 1. Remove the paper from the MP tray 2. Remove any jammed paper from in and around the MP tray 3. Close the MP tray. Then open the front cover and close it to reset the machine. 4. Open the MP tray again 5. Fan the paper stack, and then put it back in the MP tray 6.
