Try this procedure to drain the static energy of the phone.

1. unplug power from base
2. unplug phone connection from base
3. remove cover and battery from handset
4. wait 10 minutes
5. put battery back, reattach phone connection and power

The Thomson's telephone carrying the GE brand-model no:CE29382 does not ring. Indicates by the light also the caller id but there is no sound.

I have a 20year old GE model no.27017GE2-A wireless phone.can anyone help me on what type of battery i need to buy for this unit.thanks

take the battery out and on the side will be the specification of the battery take the battery to a good battery shop or go to e-bay and type in the specs of the battery and search from there.

Using GE remote how do I change audio from Spanish back to English on Philco SDTV converter

If GE remote is a Universal remote, look in manual for the code for your Philco and if it's fully functional as remote, you should be able to access the menu..
