This is actually a common problem, and is likely mentioned in the user manual.

Click on the start box, goto settings. Click on the Connections Tab. Click on USB to PC. Uncheck the "Enable Advanced Network Functionality" option. Reset (soft reset, not the hard data wiping reset), and try to connect again.

Many PDAs running Windows Mobile 6.x are afflicted by this, but nobody seems to know why.

yes you can change it via editted rom file with hex editor change it GER to ENG

pls first confirm the charger is working or not and then kindly leave the pda for like 2 hours on charge it will start charging , when u store these devices for longer period kindly fully charge the battery and then store , when battery drains during non use it drops to a certain level from where it might come back or might not , pls leave the battery on charge for like 2 or 3 hours first and then u will see charging signs or light

Changing the language

What you have to determine is why the system is not booting. Is it a software or a hardware issue? Try booting your laptop, and as soon as the machine starts to bootup, press the key or keys required to enter the setup (CMOS/BIOS). Check to see if the hard drive is being recognized by the CMOS. If so, check to boot devices and te boot order to be sure that the hard drive is selected as the firs boot device. If the drive is being seen and is the first device and it still won't boot, the problem is most likely a corrupted software load. Without a boot disk you are pretty much up the creek without a paddle for basic repair. If your machine has a recovery partition, you may be able to access it and restore the laptop to factory load, but all your programs and data will be lost if you do this. If the BIOS/CMOS did NOT recognize your hard drive, you can attempt to remove and reinstall it and try again. It that fails then the only solution is a new hard drive.
