Battery Issue
Firstly i doubt that your phone battery is damaged. To check this please go to your nearest mobile Service center & check for battery life. If it is damaged then you have to replace the battery to new one. If your phone is within the warranty period, your battery replacement will be done free of cost Else you have to bare the cost. Ther is also a possibilty of your phone chager to get damaged. Please check for the same with other compactible phone.

What's the brand and model number of your phone? Is it a Kaiser?
Try soft resetting the phone by removing the battery and leave it out for 5 minutes and put it back on.
If you get the same problem and if I assume correct, you may check the link below and see if that helps:

AT&T is locking the sim cards on go phones to the imei number of the phone was purchased for 4 months...you can not use a sim card from a go phone in another phone during that time frame.
Ok so when i turn my phone on a pass word lock
Short of doing a hard reset...no. To do a hard reset take out the sim card and memory card (if you have one) hold the 2 soft keys (the keys about the internet "e" and the messanging "letter"...hold those keys in while pushing the soft reset button (to the right of your usb connector) with your stylus. Follow the directions to reset the phone.
No service in known good area
Check your sim card. If you have an old cingular card. You need to update your sim. Or your phone will need service.

AT&T GPRS connection not working
You need to get the proxy settings from your service provider then.
Start -> Settings -> connections -> connections
There should be a link named: set up my proxy server
enter the proxy server there.
Cant remember password to get in to phone
You can hard reset the device which will bust past this flimsy password.
To do this:
Press and hold the left and right soft keys under the screen while you push the reset button on the bottom of the phone with the stylus or a similar object.
My touch screen stopped working on my tilt phone
This could be one of (at least) two things.
Screens have a digitizer built in. Your digitizer could have blown out, or your connector could be loose/corroded/moist.
Fixing any or all of these involves opening your mobile. Have it serviced. If you do it yourself, you WILL violate your warranty, guaranteed.
If they determine that the screen/digitizer unit is nonfunctional, do not let them sell you one! Order one off of eBay, from Hong Kong or wherever, which'll run you around $26 to $30 U$Dollars. AT&T or a service place charge like $200.00 for the same item!
Hope that helps. Best of luck! :-D
Speaker phone
Once you are on a call, the interface on the touchscreen should change. The number buttons go away, and are replaced by several other buttons. One of those says "Speaker On" which turns your speaker on, happily enough. Or should, obviously.
Hope that helps. Best of luck! :-D
Phone completely dead
This is a very odd problem with an even "odder" solution. When this happened to mine, I found a website that told me the following. I swear it works... eventually... probably.
Take the back off and just set it aside for a few minutes.
Now, remove the battery, and then put it back in, and then press the power button. If that does not do it, repeat the process...
... like 20 or 30 or 40 times. Eventually, the unit will make a (scary sounding) "pop" noise, and should turn on as normal.
I have had 3 Tilts. (I tend to be hard on phones.) Of those, two have had the "death" issue. Both were resuccitated this way, and worked just fine afterward.
Best of luck! Hope that helped. :-D
