You need to upgrade your player’s firmware if you experience any of the following:
- When your attempt to use the player, the Found New Hardware bubble appears and then flashes between several messages including MTP Connected, Don't Disconnect, MTP Device found, MTP Device may not work properly, or There was a problem during installation.
- The player constantly appears and disappears in Device Manager or appears in Device Manager with an exclamation point indicating an error.
- Your computer sounds the connecting and disconnecting chime when you connect the player to the USB port.
- The player does not appear in My Computer.
- Uninstalling Windows Media Player 11 and using Windows Media Player 10 corrects the issue.
- When you use the player on another PC or laptop, it works flawlessly.
- Your player was working properly with Windows Media Player 10, but you’ve recently upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 and your computer no longer detects it.
- Go to Samsung.com, enter in the model u have in the search area and then go to support, this should fix the problem!

Plug it in and charge it for 3 hours, if it does not say fully charged
or dies quickly after this, then the battery is no good.
You could try this, turn on till dead, wrap in newspaper, place in zip lock bag, place in freezer for 2 days, take out let sit for one day in a warm area,
charge for three hours and see if it holds the charge.

Go to Windows Media Player. Plug your Samsung in with your usb cable. Then when Windows Media Player is open go to the sync tab. Then you find your samsung on the left side and click it. Then you go to songs. Then you can select all your music and right click. Select the add to sync tab. Then on the right side of your screen the music will show up. Then you click the sync tab and Windows Media Player will sync your music from your samsung to your computer.

check the fastforward button from the outside first and if its nothing looks wrong just open it up and check for problems if u dont have a warranty if u do i suggest using it

1. plug in
2. enter device via My Computer
3a(mtp mode).copy and paste from folder to desktop or another folder.
3b(USB mode). enter folder "MTP" and do step 3a.

all you need to do is update the software in the mp3 go to samsung.com and then go to download center and type in the mp3 modle which is usaly found on the back of the mp3 then you click on the firmware upgrade. but if this dosnt work try to turn it on and when it gets about 80 percent loaded just put it into the computer then
