maybe, or you might needto get a cd that came with it, or u can look at the manual, last u might possibly need something else like itunes or something, one of those should help you.

if all the songs and videos are in your memory chip(micro sd) then take it out at first and then reset your phone.............;)

1. Use the supplied USB cable to connect the Walkman to the Computer.
2. Disconnect all other USB devices if you have connected to avoid conflict.
3.Connect the Walkman to the other USB ports on the Computer.
4.Check whether the USB Driver is installed in the Computer or if it is corrupted.
You can check whether the USB Driver is corrupted or not by following steps below(only for Windows Operating System).
Right-click on MyComputer icon and select "Manage".
Then, select Device Manager at the left plane.
Then check whether any "Unknown device" or "?" or "!" is listed under Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the bottom of the right pane.
If there is so, then right-click on it and select uninstall.
This will un-install the USB Driver.
Then, un-plugg the USB cable and plug-it in.
Now, the Walkman should be recognized as a removable device in My Computer.

If the issue persists, then connect the Walkman to a different Computer to check whether the issue is with the Computer or the Walkman.

If the issue persists even with different Computer, then try resetting the Walkman by pressing the RESET button located at its bottom. You can use any pin or any sharp pointed object to reset it.
Then connect back the Walkman to check whether it works.

If the issue persists you may try using a different compatible USB cable.

To clear the Memory of the Walkman Player, try formatting it with the Menu items.
The Steps to format the Player is, 1. Press and hold the BACK/HOME button in the pause mode until the Home Menu appears. 2. Press arrow keys to select "SETTINGS" and press the Playback/Pause button to confirm. 3. Press arrow keys to select "COMMON SETTINGS" and press the Playback/Pause button to confirm. 4. Press arrow keys to select "FORMAT" and press the Playback/Pause button to confirm. 5. Press Up/Down arrow keys to select "YES" and press the Playback/Pause button to confirm. "All Data will be deleted" Proceed? message appears on the display. 6. Again, press Up/Down arrow keys to select "YES" and press the Playback/Pause button to confirm. Now, Memory formatted message will be displayed.

Don't be afraid when your walkman is not working, because maybe there is a defective in your computer that's why your walkman is malfunctioning.
I've already experience your situation right now, and yo know what i did? I just went to a technicians who knows how to fix my walkman. Because there are possibilities that some virus roam in your walkman, and its all because of the computer. But one I am sure that is being infected by the virus from the computer. So before its to late you better go to the technician near your house so fix your valuable walkman. Otherwise, your walkman will be damage.

The problem is driver related unless you figure out that it is not a faulty data cable you have.

You can download driver for this device from here. Just choose which operating system you have. Once installed try connecting your device to your pc and see if detection started and see also if indication of charging is starting also.

If not, you can also inspect if your pc have detected this device as removable disk. Double click My Computer icon and see if the removable disk appear on the list. If not try some changing of setting to let your pc detect it. Follow these steps
1. Right click on My Computer and select properties.
2. Select Hardware tab and click Device Manager
3. Right click on Portable Audio and select update drivers
4. Cick nextand tick the option let me choose driver for this device
5. Next choose usb mass storage driver from two options then click next..

After this double click again the My Computer icon and see if the removable disk appears.

If after downloading the drivers and changing the setup did not help then my suggestion will be to check the data cable and the connection of it in the device. Replace the data cable.
