if its not starting at all it maybe a firmware problem... to solve that, 1.download the appropriate firmware from here 2.press and hold reset button for 2 seconds 3.run the firmware updater 4.press and hold "volume -" button while connecting to system. 5.the updater will detect the player and it will upgrade the firmware.

1. Check your sound Icon in advance setting
   
2. if external speaker check is there any variable situated increase the volume from that variable
3. Cross check the video song file to other mp3, may be it recorded in low volume
   
4. Reinstalled the application software if you have that
5. Check the difference with and without headphone
   

Try to charge it and if it still won't switch on, you'll need to change the battery.

Hi..

Try to use other cable, maybe the cable are bad, witch is not working, you may plug you transcend direct to your motherboard USB port. Some of the port there are not working properly you need to plug it again if it does not work in the first try.

i lost my software cd for transcend 840 i want to upload video files wat is the way

easy, just find the AUX port on the home theatre system then turn the system to AUX and hook a cable that has 2 male ends (the ends that go into your mp3 players headphone jack) to your ipod and to your home theatre, you will have to buy this cable seperatly

go to Any pc store or any vendor dealing electronic items or music shops like Music World or Planet M

press the reset button

When you connect your device to your system, you can see a new secondary storage device (F:), like C, D drives.

Now right click on the device and defragment it.
One more option for you.
Right click and go to properties
There uncheck the allow indexing service ....
Also check the Compress drive to save disk space.

These will help you to save some more audio/video files.

You cannot save videos in SLS folder. SLS folder is to save the SLideShow(SLS).
The place to save videos is MTPmedia folder.
Now you can save and play videos.

By default the recordings will be saved in month/date/M0number format
If you have recorded three audios today then it will be saved as
0625M001.wav
0625M002.wav
0625M003.wav

it can support 3gp, wmp,... but not .flv

I am using T sonic.
I like to turn the display off while I am listening to songs.
I did like this.

I went to settings->Screen Saver->10 seconds->blank

I'm using T sonic 840. For the first time even I don't know how to operate.
Now I know every nook and corner about T sonic 840

When you start charging The animation appears,
When you switch off the charging, you can see goodbye animation.

Now you press the play button for four to five seconds, and the T sonic will be switched on.
I just want to let you know the functionality of the scroll button.
You can scroll down, scroll up and even you can press the button like play button and record button.

When switched on the page will be at Music.
Now just press the scroll button, now the mp3 player will be started.

I'm using T sonic 840. But till now I didn't face any issues like this.
My T sonic was affected by New Folder.exe virus.

What I did is I just connected my T sonic to Linux Ubuntu( It is an Operating System like Windows)
In Ubuntu Virus cannot work. And you can easily delete the viruses/worms

Be sure that you changed the video format as .mtv
I think you don't know about video converter.

A software CD will be given to you while purchasing the T sonic
You put the CD and download the Video Converter.

Now Convert the videos to .mtv format through the video converter.
Now you can view videos.

No need to go to Service Centers...
