Dishwasher had a burning smell and smoke was coming out
If the smoke was coming from inside the dishwasher... A common problem is a plastic item , utensil etc has fallen down onto the heating element. During the drying cycle this could possibly melt the plastic and generate some smoke.
Fidgedaire dishwasher leaking from bottom of door
You can try and make the door close tighter. Open the door, and there should be 2 screws that hold the other side of the latch. Loosen the two screws and push the latch back towards the back of the tub. Tighten and see if that takes care of the problem. That is where I usually start when leaking from the tub.
Frigidaire dishwasher...
It is very possible that something could be obstructing the main pump. But, first. Does your dishwasher fill with enough water? When full, the water level should fill to just below the heating element. You can check this by waiting for the fill cycle to stop and the normal wash cycle to begin. Open the door and check the water level. If your dishwasher isn't getting enough water, you could have a bad fill valve, or the inlet water line could be kinked. If this isn't the case, then suspect that you might have a clogged pump. Food particles such as popcorn kernels, orange or lemon seeds, small chicken bones and glass are notorious for getting into the pump screen area and obstructing the water flow (some of the other items I have found are labels off jars, bottle top seals, twist ties, rib bones, hair scrunchies, and yes - even band-aids!). Even though some dishwasher manufacturers advertise some amazing capabilities of their dishwashers, you still need to scrape your dishes of all food particles as much as possible. This does not mean you have to pre-wash prior to loading them. Anything that doesn't get dissolved by the wash cycle and detergent will end up sitting in the pump well. If the pump isn't able to pump enough water, your dishwasher will fill normally, but the spray arms will not turn, detergent does not dissolve and your dishes will not come clean. To get to the pump, you need to remove the lower spray arm and the coarse screen (located directly under the lower spray arm). The pump well should be located under the coarse screen. Look for anything that may restricting the water flow. I hope this helps and it's easy fix for you.

Frigidaire Dishwasher
A common problem with dishwashers is the non-draining machine. If you are having trouble, check to see if the drainpipe and sink trap are clogged. If you still have drainage problems after doing this, check your drain hose to make sure there are no kinks or bends. if the hose looks worn out you can replace the hose pretty inexpensivley. if your have thoughly checked from dishwasher to trap under the sink where your dishwasher should drain to and it seems clear you may have to call in the repair man.

Refrigerator will not run-has bad outside odor
It is very common for the "relays" to go out on the compressor. The relays are mounted on the left side of the compressor. You need to find an "Appliance Parts Store" and buy an "RO-41". (this is a relay) it cost no more than 10 bucks. Go home with you new bought relay and pull your refrigerator out from the wall. Don't forget to unplug it! Take off the rectangle card board cover off the bottom of the refrigerator "in back"... More than likely 1/4 nut driver. Now look for the compressor--"The Roundish black thing the size of a basketball". Next, you will see a box looking thing (black, white) mounted on the side of the compressor with 2 wires going to it. Next take it off the side of the compressor. It just pulls straight off! Sometime though it may be held in place by a little clip. Now read the instructions with the RO-41(inside cover). You will end up cutting the old relays off. Take the two wires that went to it and wire them into the relay(follow the instructions w/relay) then other wires on relay plug right into the compressor! AND THATS IT! It sounds hard but aint... goodluck!!!
