Dishwasher is not draining
Hi,
Your dishwasher pump ejects the water. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher. You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher, but first you need to remove the lower rack, the spray arm, and the spray arm support.Look for an impeller--a round plastic fan blade-type of device that spins around. This is the wash impeller, which forces the water through the spray arm. Beneath the wash impeller is the drain impeller, which is similar in size and shape to the wash impeller. The drain impeller pushes the water toward the drain port. These components make up the pump. If any of the pump components are defective, you need to replace them.
Thank you !!
How to fix leaking heating element
Switch off the m/c. Remove the heater and clean the gasket seating area. Replace the gasket. If new gasket not available, clean the old gasket free from oil.
Apply rubber solution on both the ends metal parts. Allow it to dry. Now attach the heater along with gasket. Use after few hours.
Poor cleaning
Check inlet water pressure. Clean the strainer attached to the machine body!
If every thing is OK check the pump.
Water is draining instead of going to spray arm.
I would check to see if the dishwasher is syphoning the water out. This is caused by an improperly installed drain hose. Check to make sure that the drain hose goes about the level of the main drain. Sometimes dishwasher are installed with teh drain hose going into a crawl space, or into a drain below the dishwasher.

Dishwasher will not turn on. The door is closed
First thing to check is the circuit breaker, it may have tripped. If not, check for power at that plug also, process of elimination. If you have power, then it is in the door latch assembly. Look it over very carefully to see how it engages. There is a switch that has to be closed a normally open contact switch that is not closing. If it was a power problem, great. If not, you will need to make an adjustment to the latch. If you have a manual, this would be of much help. Please let me know how its going and I hope I have been of help to you.

Dishwasher clogs, water wont empty
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa.
Dishwasher not draining properly or not draining at all issues can arise due
to different reasons. Usually, these issues are related to kinked hoses,
knocked out disposer unit (if connected with the dishwasher drain hose) &
clogged drain pump & filter.
Also note that dishwashers do not
drain completely after a finished cycle and this is normal. Dishwashers are
designed to leave some water in the unit to ensure that the heating element
doesn’t overheat. If you suddenly begin to experience a large amount of water
being retained in your dishwasher, you have a problem. Some of the most common
reasons include that the drain hose isn’t working properly, the drain pump
isn’t working correctly, or possibly there is a plumbing problem in your home’s
drain lines.
First check whether the drain is
not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. Check all the hoses for
blockages & also clean the air gap. Has the disposer been replaced
recently? If so, chances are the knockout is still in place. Simply remove the
drain hose from the disposer, and knock out the plug. If the disposer has not
been replaced, try removing the drain hose from the disposer and use a wet-dry
vacuum (prepared for water, of course) to **** any water (and hopefully anything
else) from the drain line. Then reconnect the hose, and test the unit. If you
have checked the air gap and the drain hose and can’t locate the problem, then
it is an issue with the drain pump of the dishwasher.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further
assistance.
Thanks

TIMER STOPS AT DRY CYCLE. I INSTALLED NEW TIMER
Your element or your high limit is bad. The power goes through the high limit and then through the element, then into the timer. This is what makes the timer advance through the dry cycle.

Can you hear the water solenoid click when it calls for water? If so, check that the water source valve is on and water comes out of the valve. Check the entry hose for kinks.
Remove everything under the lower arm down to the deck keeping track of reassembly order of every part. Clean the intake screen in a solution of about 5 parts hot water and one part white vinegar for an hour or so. You should be able to to see the pump impeller at the bottom--rotate it to see if it turns freely. If it squeaks or grinds when turned, you may have to remove the motor to clean or replace it. If the screen is damaged in any way, replace it.
Will not pump water into dishwasher what should i check?
The problem is most likely the water inlet valve. This is a solenoid
that opens when there is power to it. It is a common problem on
dishwashers and washing machines.
It is usually blue in color with a couple of wires running to it.
It is usually right where your water line hooks up to the unit.
You can google dishwasher inlet valve and see a picture
They are not very expensive and are usually fairly easy to replace.
If you need more help, post a comment.
Thanks,
Tim
Dishwasher not pumping the water out?
hi
the larger motor housing underneath the unit is what moves the water around to wash, the smaller pump is the drain pump, if you don't hear that running it is likely in need of replacement. check your paper work for warranty, if it's out of warranty try to find a deal online and it's relatively easy to replace
