Frigidaire 24 in. FDB126RB Built-in Dishwasher - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I put the dishwasher into diagnostic mode?
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided you would like to place your Frigidaire dishwasher into a diagnostic mode. I have reviewed the dishwasher and do not show a diagnostic mode available. Based off the information you have provided you may be experiencing an issue with your timer or knob. I would suggest performing a factory reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the breaker off for at least ten minutes. Since it could be an issue with either electrical components you may need to seek guidance from a professional technician. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

Dishwasher shows nd on display
Hello Ravi, thank you for your post!
I recommend
confirming that the electronic igniters are properly aligned. Ensure that tip
of spark igniter is aligned with metal point or "nib" located on underside of
burner cap after the burner mounting screws have been tightened (not all
burners have mounting screws.) When the burner control knob is set to the
"LITE" position do the igniters spark? If it does, once again verify that the
gas supply to the range is properly connected and turn on. However, if it does not, then your range
could possibly have faulty spark module, clogged valve, burner or electrodes
that only a professional can assist with.
Not working
Good Afternoon heartbrea158, I am happy to assist you. If
the dishwasher is not cleaning, typically, this is a sign that the water
temperature to the unit is not warm enough. The water temperature should be at
least 120f and no more than 130f. I advise turning the hot water on at the
sink (or faucet closest to the dishwasher); allow the water to get as hot as
possible. Are you using rinse aid? Use a rinse agent to increase drying and
cleaning performance. When was the last time the filter was cleaned? If the
spray arm can manually rotate, then another possibility may be that not enough water is being
pumped to the spray arm. If you tap the delivery tube that feeds this nozzle
and the water pressure jumps immediately; the problem lies either with the pump
or maybe the impeller, for some reason the full flow of water is not making it
to the upper spray arm. Should
all basic troubleshooting measures fail contact a certified technician to
narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be
the root cause.
Upper spray arm
Hello Alan - Will the spray arm rotate freely or is it damaged? If so,
you might have to remove and replace the spray arm assemblies. The top spray
arm typically starts to function when the unit is in rinse or wash cycle. If
for some reason the top rack is not getting clean, there is a possibility that
it is not working properly. The top spray arm is either blocked by pots/pans or
not enough water pressure is being pump meaning that the flow of water is not
making it to the upper spray arm. If
you tap the delivery tube that feeds this nozzle and the water pressure jumps
immediately, then the problem may lie with a faulty pump or impeller. Should
all basic troubleshooting measures fail contact a certified technician to
narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be
the root cause.
Diswasher will not cut off after 3 hours
1 or more sensors are damage and or the main control board is malfunctioning- wish i could be more help but I provided as much help as I could with the given information good luck
No water in dishwasher
Hello Lupe Espiricueta - Is the unit making a grinding noise? Is the house water valve turn on? Is the door closed tightly? If so, but dishwasher still does not fill with water I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately and properly diagnose the unit. The unit could possibly have a miscommunication with the connector and wiring connection or a defective drain motor/pump
I have what should have been a simple problem, but
Hi Charles.
In fact this model is not too complicate. The only switches in line with
power to inlet valve are the door switch and pressure switch. The timer
is not a common reason for the problem. When machine is under-filling
(this and similar models), the problem is usually either inlet valve or
float switch.
If there is no water at all the valve solenoid may be open. Read
impedance at valve's contacts. If it reads infinity replace the valve
straight away. Valve solenoid testing is not a definitive test. The
valve may still be clogged or mechanically faulty.
Before testing anything else make sure that there is no blockage in inlet hose and valve and check pressure from the house.
As said the problem is often the valve, before replacing the inlet valve the following must be tested:
Testing would start at the float switch. The fact that the arm is moving
smoothly and clicking does not mean that is working OK. The switch may be opening too early the contact
to inlet valve, causing water flow to end beforetime.
The technician must test the float switch by jumping its contacts. With
float switch contacts jumped the machine will overfill. The cycle must
be stopped manually according to the times in the tech sheet (from 2 to
13 mins depending on the cycle selected). If machine fills completely
with floater's contacts jumped replace the float switch.
If the machine under-fills and continues the cycle the door switch is
ulikely responsible. The technician is supposed to test the door switch
as well, just in case. The door switch can be tested jumping its
contacts or reading impedance to make sure that it opens and closes
circuit when door is operated.
If the float switch is OK it is usually the valve. The timer can be
tested reading voltages at contacts 6B, 10T and 8T of wiring harness
lines (see tech sheet).
Because of safety issues involved, testing with live power should only be performed by a qualified technician.

What does DO7 mean on
This means a leak in the dishwasher which has triggered the flood switch.
Turn the tap off and pull out the dishwasher from under the bench.
Tilt on one side and see if any water drips on to the floor. Wait for a couple of hours and try dishwasher again. The source of leak will need to be found.
Please confirm the model number of the blanco dishwasher so that I can try and help with location of flood switch.

Hello, it sounds like your dishwasher motor is bad. These frigidaire motors go out quite frequently. To replace it, pull out dishwasher and underneath, just disconnect the mount and screws and it'll pop right out. You can probably get a motor online for 100 bucks. Hope this helps,
