C1 not working

Sounds like your Phantom power supply may be defective. To be safe, 1st try moving AC plug for Phantom supply to another outlet as sometimes "sharing grounds" can be a problem. If this doesn't help, try using another phantom power source ...many PA mixers have built-in phantom power. If the buzz disappears with a new one, it will be a filtering issue (capacitors) with the old phantom supply.

Hello so i got a new c-1 and about 2 weeks ago i

The C-1 is a condenser microphone, which means that it requires phantom power in order to function. Most M-Audio products will provide phantom power, so it would just be a matter of pressing the button or switch (it might be marked +48 or +48v). If your M-Audio device doesn't have such a button or switch, you'll need to upgrade to a preamp that does in order to use that mic. If you do turn it on and it still doesn't work, there's something wrong with either the cable or the microphone itself.

Can a Behringer C-1microphone connect directly into a computer and record? What other equipment will I need? Thanks

you could get away with getting a small behringer mixer that has +48V of power for the mic. Put your mic cable into there and then run straight out using 6.5 (guitar) cable to your computer. you may need some connectors to convert your jack.

How to i test to see if a mic element is still working

The easiest way is to plug it into a mixing desk or microphone input on a sound card. However, whichever you do you will need phantom power as this microphone requires it.

Hi I bought a Behringer

That's a condenser microphone. Make sure you have on your phantom power. Should be a button or switch somewhere on the mixer ( individual channel or switch by power switch or in master section for +48v). All condenser mics require this.

I don't know what you mean by "audio box".

This microphone REQUIRES "phantom power" and if your "audio box" does not provide that or the switch on it is set to phantom off, the light will not come on.

Behringer ha 8000 transformer replacement help.

Toroid Transformer is used in power supply not with headphones out. Headphones out are directly connected with headphone amplifier IC. (Note that the difference in 4700 and 8000 is number of channels. Rest of the circuit diagram is same). Behringer HA 4700 PowerPlay Pro-XL ' SynthXL - FREE Service Manual
