Sony vaio vgn-NR120E has no mic specially when u r on skype i can hear the caller but my voice is not heard by him...tell me the solutionWhat's your problem?

You're on a laptop and it's talking about a sound card? If you can hear audio or the voice from the caller then you don't need a sound card. Yes you can purchase an external mic and it just plugs into the mic port on your system. I think that might be why the caller can't hear you. All computers do not come with a built in microphone. And if you are skyping and using a web cam, all web cams don't have a built in microphone.

Wireless switch not working, is there another way?

Hi, My Name is Henry. I am one of the technicians here.

You need to try re-installing the drivers for the wireless adaptor.

If that does not work then I think you will have to get a repair person to check it.

Please do not forget to rate my solutions to you.

Henry

How do I replace the

To replace a hard drive, you'll need to backup any data you want to keep, uninstall the old hard drive, install the new hard drive, and then restore the backed up data.

The specific steps necessary to replace a hard drive differ depending on the type of hard drive you're replacing.

I have the same problem. I am having a sony vaio

I've replaced my Sony Vaio VGN_160 with a 120gb Seagate Momentus 7200rpm, 16mb cache 2.5" Sata drive. I would think all notebook SATA drives should be compatible. The 7200rpm drives cost the same as the 5400 and it only uses something like 5% more power. (I read that in a forum so I can really say if it's true.)
I did notice a performance boost from the faster and higher cache drive. It was enough to get my 4 year old Vaio another 12-18 months of life before I get a newer one. And you CAN install Windows 7 (x86 since my Vaio is a core duo and not 64bit compatible.) Yours should be able to take Win7 64, unless of course you like Vista.

Once you remove the stock drive from the drive cage, it's a matter of putting the new drive into the cage and then reinserting.
I would suggest you format the new drive before you replace it. I had the Vaio back together without formatting, and Win7 install DVD was not able to find the drive until I formatted it on my desktop. The Sata and power connector are standard so it was easy to do.

Free reboot program windows failed to load because

The registry is the file that connect all the other files of Windows together. If you don't have a backup for it then the only thing you can do is to reinstall Windows. If you need to recover some files before that then boot from a Linux Live-Cd and copy them to another external disk or memory stick.

My battery is shown as no battery so I put new

So, the problem is not caused by the battery. You can try to clean the connector of the laptop, if it can't solve the problem, you need to check the concerned components on the motherboard. If so, a professional repair man is needed.

I want to connect my

Hi,
Your Sony vaio does not have any TV-out port to output the display on any analog TV. You can use your VGA (by using VGA cable) port to output your laptop on LCD / Plasma / LED TV (with a VGA port also)). If you still want to project to analog TV via the VGA port, you need to find a VGA to RGB adaptor. But bare in mind, it's hard to find one.
VGA port is like the port on computer monitor. RBG consist of three colored port.
Good luck ;)

I have Sony VGN-NR120E. When

1. Unplug your computer and remove the battery.
2. Press the power button several times.
3. Reattach the battery, plug in the computer, and press the power button.
4. If the problem persists, look closely at the screen. If you can make out faint, dim images, the backlighting components must be replaced or repaired. If not, it is likely another issue with the physical hardware of the machine such as the screen or the motherboard.
