Sound is not proper
Hi knightgown
The limited information that you have given is very difficult to diagnose a problem with, if you are looking for a solution the more information you supply will give a better opportunity for a diagnosis or possibly a solution to your problem so if you give us more information we can try to give you a better informed solution.
However try going into your control panel and select system and go to device manager see if your sound drivers are correctly installed, if not insert the drivers disk that came wuih your laptop and select the sound drivers
Hope this helps you

The problem could be with the RAM. If you have two RAM Sticks, try
using one at a time. Else, try replacing the RAM. I faced this issue a
few months back with toshiba and replacing RAM worked.
Hope this works for you as well!

There are a couple of keys on My toshiba satellite
Hi,
Not in all cases no.
There could be foreign object stuck underneath the keyboard. Get a clean dry paintbrush, stand the laptop open on its side and gently tap around the keyboard with the handle end to dislodge anything that could be stuck under the keys. Brush anything that comes out away.
Carry on doing this until you have cleaned the keyboard then check to see if the keys work again. If they still don't work then you are looking at a replacement keyboard.
Regards.

Has anyone with a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7407 installed XP?
If you are looking for something to improve performance, check out your antivirus software. Some are major resource hogs (like Norton or Mcafe) while others are very light like Avira Antivir.
If you want a really easy way to do all the performance modifications at once, try Iolo System Mechanic. It has done wonders for every PC I have installed it on (including my $300 Windows 7 budget notebook).
The software is relatively inexpensive at outlets like Sams Club or Fry's (about $20) so I would recommend trying that first, and switch if it doesn't do enough for your needs.
Good luck!

Toshiba Satellite A215-S7407 ram upgrade
Try to disconnect the new ram you just bought one at the time to see which one is defective. Also, 32 bit operating systems won't detect 4 Gb or ram, but they will show 3 Gb (even though they will use all 4 Gb). To resolve this issue, make sure that if you are using windows Vista to download the latest service pack 1.

Battery and cd writer problem
The battery is worn out and will need replacing. As for the CD burner, many times, when the CD drive recognizes and reads, but won't burn, the burning end or board in the drive has gone out. You might also try a different burning software.

Japanese Visa Application with COE denied. Why?
How to Get Employment Security With Correct Japan Work Visa Japan is no different from other developing nations whereby grass seems greener on its side of the pasture. It attracts its fair share of foreign businesses as well as nationals seeking to work within its lands. Albeit many adhere to immigration procedures, some choose to test their limits on the basis of ignorance or defiance. By understanding the different types of work visa in Japan, it assures its foreign workers a continual stream of income with no threat of arrest and deportation. Visa simply infers the status of residence. Citizens obviously have no need of it as they automatically satisfy qualifications to freely reside in their country of birth. As for those of alien status who wish to join the local workforce, there should be a category to match one's requirement. Since most countries strive to improve the overall quality of life, professionals are generally welcomed to contribute knowledge and skill. Unskilled labor is normally not granted a visa to avoid flooding and dilution of the workforce. The visa is awarded in accordance to one's area of expertise. Supported with proof of relevant experience, it is based on the field of involvement whilst working in the country. In the event one's work scope changes from one expertise to another, it is essential to apply for a visa under the new circumstances. Different types of work visa in Japan also apply to foreign companies seeking to conduct local business. Domestic companies based abroad wishing to set up a local point of presence need to provide supporting documents to justify internal transfer of foreign workers. Governmental staff for diplomatic duties is assigned a category for legal residence. Over and above the general groupings, designated activities also garner approval from the authorities. Domestic service for non-native residents and citizens of certain nations on working holidays fall into this category of working visa. This, by no means, is the end of the list as it is best to consult the authorities on which visa serves best.Click Here For More Details: http://japanjobandvisaservice.com/blog/change-your-luck-when-apply-work-visa
