Hi there,

Startup Repair is a Windows Vista recovery tool that can fix certain problems, such as missing or damaged system files, that might prevent Windows from starting correctly. When you run Startup Repair, it scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so your computer can start correctly.
Startup Repair is located on the System Recovery Options menu, which is on the Windows Vista installation disc. If your computer manufacturer has preinstalled recovery options, Startup Repair might also be installed on your hard disk. If your computer does not include Startup Repair, your computer manufacturer might have customized or replaced the tool. Check the information that came with your computer or go to the manufacturer's website.
How do I use Startup Repair?

If you have a Windows Vista installation disc, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc. If you do not restart your computer from the disc, the option to repair your computer will not appear.
If you have a Windows Vista installation disc:
  1. Insert the installation disc.
  2. Restart your computer.
Click the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, click the arrow next to the Lock button , and then click Restart.
  3. If prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

Note If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or DVD, check the information that came with your computer. You may need to change your computer's BIOS settings.
Hope you find this answer helpful, God bless.

P0wer problem

Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail. A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust. Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

Formatting toshiba laptop

Some manufacturers provide a recovery partition that you can boot from. You can try pressing F8, F11 or F12 repeatedly on startup to attempt to access this. If not, you will need to use your recovery DVDs. If you do not have these, you will either need to create them if you can still access your laptop's operating system, or you can order them from Toshiba.

Running windows vist home Premium SP2 on this

Minimize Number of Programs atStart-Up If you are running too many programsat start-up this can be a cause of Windows Vista running slowly. So try tominimize the number of programs running at start-up. Follow these steps todisable start-up programs. 1. Click Start

3. In the dialog box type MsConfig
4. Press Enter, a pop-up window will appear on your screen

6. Uncheck unwanted services and programs from startup

Many old computers came with 512 MB ofRAM and on such PC's Windows XP runs well but if you want to run Windows Vistaon such a PC you should have at least 1 GB of RAM for smooth performance. b> Clean Out Viruses While surfing the internet somemalicious applications are downloaded and installed automatically in oursystem. These malicious applications decrease the performance of any operatingsystem, Windows Vista run so slow due to these infected files. To get rid ofthese malicious applications you must download and install a powerful Virus andSpyware cleaner. I can find a webcam

If you need to install drivers.

Always get your drivers and specific software from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop. They are usually free of charge.

If you were to log on to the www.toshiba.com web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Teclas 2,w,s n funcionam
