Turn it over & it's under the smallest panel you can see i think,It's under one of them.It should just slide across & pull out it might be screwed down.
Once you've got it out you'll need to remove the caddy ie the metal case around it,should be just 4 screws 2 on both sides.
put the new in & screw it all back together.
You do realise that you'll have to reinstall windows on to the new drive & that you'll need to save all your data off the old one on to CD,FLASH DRIVE or EXTERNAL HHD in order to use it.

If you have connected any USB Devices, Like Printer, Hard Drive or any other device, Disconnected it and try to restart, If this does not work, please let us know for further Solutions.

If the clips are still in place then place the key over the clip align the key cap so it is in line with the other keys and press down on the key cap until it clicks onto the clips.

Check your Driver Properly installed for Bluetooth[Check in device manager]..Install Bluetooth Driver from here[If you dont have Driver CD]..
Bluetooth will Work with in a Specified Range.There is necessary to Pair with the Devices to Work Properly[Some devices needed Passcode to PAIR.You can enter 0000 as Default]
Still have Problem Uninstall Driver you Installed and Reinstall it..

I had this happen to me too. Goto your taskbar, (located at the bottom) right click your battery icon. In the selection menu, there should be something like "Power Options" click it. Goto your power settings, or to adjust, and you should see WLAN, it may say, disconnect when charging. And it should have a drop menu that lets you change it. Set it for "Always On" Hope this helps.

dont need to remove the hard drive to make it boot up

what screen activity do you have when the machine starts

do you have a power light or battery light when the charger is plugged in?
do you get the start up screen when you press the start button?

Hi, sorry there isn't a back door password, you will have to contact Acer support and explain to them, they may help, if not you will have to find someone to take the laptop apart and reset the bios.

Most Acers use a form of Intel IPN2220 Wireless card. If yours does, you use XP and your router is using WPA or WPA2 (TKIP or AES) security then you'll need to update the driver by searching for it manually using the Custom button (Hardware) in Windows update (instead of Express). This driver is not part of XP service pack 2 or 3. In my experience if you don't update to the newest common form of home wireless security (WPA2 AES) then the older formats seem to become unreliable in the way you describe

Sounds like overheating to me, due to the increased heat from the video card. Turn the computer off, remove the bottom cover, blow air from a compressed air can, check the fan(s) can move easily, re-install the cover and restart.
BEFORE you play any games, I suggest you install CPUID Hardware Monitor (it's free).

Install and run. Check the temperatures of your CPU and video GPU. They should never be higher than 80 C (80 C is the very worst case scenario, it should normaly be lower than that, unless there is a problem)

Its better to send the laptop to the manufacturer for a repair as we find it as a genuine issue with either the board or with the monitor. There could be no issue with the OS and looks like its a genuine hardware problem. Good Luck.
