I can't recevie any files
If you are using the MS bluetooth stack, you must explicitly prepare your notebook to receive the file. You must have bluetooth icon in the notification area. Right click it and select something like 'Receive file' (sorry for not being more specific, since mine is in Portuguese). Only then, send the file from your mobile.
Hope it works for you.
Just my 2 cents...
Regards,
Carlos

Turns off shortly after turning on
Is this when connected to power source or on battery?
If it is on battery the battery may need to have its memory refreshed.
Turn the 5720 off, remove the battery, hold the on/off button down for 15 seconds and when done put it back together and turn it on.
Good Luck

Touchpad drag and drop from surveys
This can be accomplished a couple of ways. Depending on the model of your computer there may be a pressure sensitive switch under the mouse pad that pressing a little harder will actuate. Another method is there might be 'virtual' mouse buttons on your trackpad. Put one finger in the flower left corner and drag on the pad with another. Finally, there is a setting for a double click drag and drop. Tap the mouse pad twice and on the second tap keep your finger on the pad and move it. Good luck!

Webcam
If you go to your start menu, look for a programme called 'acer crystal eye webcam' and that will bring up your webcam programme.
It is not in the folder 'Acer crystal eye webcam' though, just 'Crystal eye webcam'.
start \ all programmes \ Crystal Eye Webcam \ Crystal Eye Webcam.
If this proves fruitless, type webcam into the search option at the bottom of your start menu and look for the crystal eye webcam.
If these do not work, then look in your control panel to make sure it is installed. If not, contact company, they have a good customer service standard (from my experience)

aspire netbook to factory defaults Save any files or folders on your Acer Aspire One with flash drives. Drag and drop files onto the icon of your flash drive. Go to "Start" > "Restart" to reboot your netbook. Hold down "Alt" and "F10" when you see the Acer logo on the screen. The recovery menu will load. Hit "Enter" and then "Next" to see your recovery options. Choose "Factory Restore" to set your netbook back to factory settings. Follow the instructions on the screen. Choose your time zone and language when the customization menu appears. Reboot the netbook when you are prompted. Restore your saved files from the flash drive. or Click on the Start menu. Then, select all programs, Acer Empowering Technology and Acer eRecovery Management. If this is the first time you have opened the program it will prompt you to set up a password and create a backup CD. Click the Restore button and select the option that reads "Restore system to factory defaults". Wait for the computer to finish the restore process and reboot. Restoring for the Boot Screen If your computer will not boot up properly, you can attempt to reach the restore option by pressing the Alt button and the F10 button at the same time. When the eRecovery menu appears, choose "restore system to factory defaults". Wait for the recovery process to complete and the computer to restart Hope this helps.
