1.Power off the Acer laptop and flip the unit over. Slide the battery release lever over and lift the battery out of the laptop.

2.Turn the laptop back over and open the lid. Look inside the open area on the keyboard where the key would normally go. Check to see if the plastic retaining clip is still inside the hole.

3Locate the plastic retaining clip if it fell off the keyboard along with the key. Use a pair of tweezers to set the clip back inside the hole. Line up the holes on the clip with the four raised nodules inside the keyboard hole.

4.Set the key back onto the plastic clip. Push the key down until it clicks into place.

5.Flip the laptop back over if there are keys that are not working properly. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the three screws on the left side of the case that hold the keyboard in place. Turn the laptop back over so that you can see the LCD screen.

6.Push the thin end of a flat-head screwdriver under the LED indicator strip above the keyboard. Pop the strip upward and pull it off the laptop.

7.Lift the keyboard up towards you until the long ribbon cable running from the bottom of the keyboard to the motherboard comes into view. Unplug the cable from the port on the motherboard and then pull the keyboard and its ribbon cable off the case. Spray out the underside of the keys and the inside of the Acer laptop case with canned air.

8.Reassemble the keyboard, LED indicator strip and battery.

IT MAY BE THE COMPLAINT OF OVER CHARGING OF THE BATTERY.SO TRY TO CHANGE THE BATTERY.

If your adaptor is not supplying enough current, it won't be able to run the laptop and charge at the same time.
Try a new adaptor. Cheap as anything on ebay!

first remove your battery and try to switch on your laptop with good power adapter if still have the same issue ?? just remove your memory and reinstall after clean your memory if still have the same issue ?? remove your memory and cmos battery and switch on it with a good power adapter.after 2 minute you can re install back your memory and cmos battery and try to switch on it.

did you mean the dvd drive or the player (software)?

I think you have a corrupted audio driver..
You did not say what your operating system was so you will have to pick your driver from the list to work with your operating system...7, Vista, XP.
Note: Download the newest driver available for your operating system.

The wireless feature (Wireless LAN) on an Acer notebook allows you to connect to available networks. This convenience allows you to use the Internet with network cables, modems or network installation. Acer laptops come with a wireless switch to turn the wireless feature on or off. Once you enable the wireless feature, your Acer notebook can connect to wireless networks within range.

Instructions:
1.Locate the Wireless LAN switch located on the front of your Acer Notebook. Move the switch to the right to turn on Wireless connections.

2.Right-click the network icon located on the system tray next to the clock. You should see a list of available wireless networks.

3.Select the network you want to connect to and click "Connect."

One solution for this problem is to buy a external usb amplifier. It looks like an ordinary usb mass storage device, only it don't store files but it has a speaker outlet that your speaker can be pluged into.

Now once you plug your speaker and you happen to hear a sound coming out of your speaker, a) the driver you had installed might not be updated and not compatible with the operating system that you are using, b) uor internal output amplifier might have a problem. But if your satisfied with the external usb ampifier that you bougth, you could use it to save more expenses on service and replacement parts.External usb amplifier is available at any cd-r king store. Look if you have any other admin account than only you can change the password....else you have to reinstall the windows

If you have a HDMI cable you should be OK
You will have to "switch" the display of the computer to the TV You can connect to your TV using Windows. Go to your control panel and click on Personalization. This will bring you to your appearence Go to bottom of page and click on monitor settings. Once you are there you can select how you can see TV. Make sure you have the HDMI connected to the the computer and to the television

Having this kind of problem, you might be having a hardware issue. Please call your manufacturer and have check. There might be components of the computer that is faulty resulting this problem.
