Installing Vista drivers will not work. They must be Win7 compatible.
Browse ibm's web site for drivers.

You don't say which Operating System you use, so my answer will be presented in general, Windows terms. The "unknown device" is likely to be:

Webcam
TouchPad/Mouse
Keyboard Easy Button
Bluetooth
Card Reader
Chipset

Check the Drivers List again against your Device Manager list of Installed Devices for which the Drivers are properly installed and then work it out by process of elimination.

The Windows Vista and Windows XP 32 Bit Drivers for the 3000 Y410 notebook are available from the official Lenovo Driver downloads Support website here:

Possible that PC is hanging up as there is fault on the OS ( operating system) or a virus in the OS. Also it is possible that the back up battery ( CMOS) has low voltage or the memory card is a suspect. In this case you need to check the voltage and also try and swap a memory card. Sometimes the memory card connections can be faulty either on the card or on the slot. Cleaning the slot and card must be done before you try a replacement. If the PC boots and fails then the hard disc can have bad sectors or is corrupt. However if there is no result the motherboard also can be suspected. In this case you might need the help of proper tools and equipment support to do a chip level service.

The one key recovery partition might be damaged or infected by a virus. Reason why it is not working already. Only lenovo depot repair can put the one key restoration back to your computer. You need to send in the computer to lenovo for repair.

go to controle panel then select power option .the power option window will appear .below this window there is a option "screen brightness " drag the bar ,you can adjust brightness as you need.

Kindly confirm firstly that your laptop has a DVD player. If it has, your DVD lens needs to be cleaned. There is also a chance to purchase a new one to play DVDs.

go to: www.lenov.com then go to download driver tab. select your model .driver list will appear .download what you need

click the battery status symbol in notification area(near to date and time), you can see the option to adjust brightness.

You have to delete some of the data fom the data in order to free up some space.
you can manually look for the files which are of no use...you can use disk cleanup as well by going into the propertiws of your harddrive

try to instal the driver again...
dis amble the w lan module..
clean the golden the yellow area with thinner or alcohol wait until dry and plug in again to the mini pci-e slot
change the wi fi module..
i had lenovo 3000 g430 too but i had no Bluetooth installed there? i there any Bluetooth on lenovo 3000 g430?
