Xbox 360 games wont download on dan-elec 2gb

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports (com&lpt) right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems to a computer and its parts if you need more help with this or if i have missed the problem post a reply hope it helps

I cant format my dane-elec a gb usb

click start control panel administration tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in one box then select check now start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first then return and tick the second box you should not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage this drive click start click on computer then right click on your usb drive select format hope this helps you

I just bought a Dane-Elec

click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive F: right click select properties there will be an array of options select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box then click permissions make sure you have full control in windows 7

This unit maybe faulty, all one can do is try to reformat it, try to format it FAT16 and see if it will do so, if it will NOT it is faulty.

Says my 4g flash drive

click start control panel user accounts on the users tab click the name of the computer administrator you must have full control

If you are running a Windows XP OS then you might be able to:
- click start right click on my computer select open
- Right click the icon of your Flash Drive (It should be F:/ or something)
- Click Properties in the menu that comes up
- Click the Sharing tab
- Click permissions
- And finally, click Allow next to Full Control.

It claims to be full.

It depends on your operating system but is similar for most windows versions.
For windows 7/vista
Click Start Click computer right click the flash drive and click format check quick format and then click start
Note: this will erase everything on the drive.

When I plug in my flash drive, my computer won't

Try it on another computer. If it works, then your computer's USB port has problem. Check the ports and make sure they are properly connected and are cleaned. Also make sure the USB driver is updated/installed. You can also try it on another USB Port of your computer. If it doesn't work on another computer, then I would say your Flashdrive is bad or gone.

I bought my 2G thumb

Hi,

Since you just purchase you Thumb Drive Yesterday and you said that other usb devices have been detected you can ask the store where you purchase it to check and if it is not working they might replace it with a new one provided that it has a warranty on it.

Scan the device for Virus's first.
Secondly use CMD to copy off file(s): Make a folder on C: called USB. Then in command type: cd xcopy C:\USB /E /H /Y

Format the Device.

My 2gb drive cant be

Hi,

The best way is to uninstall all the USB port. To do so:

Click Start> Control Panel> Hardware and Sound>Device Manager (click View hardware and devices)> Click the (+) sign in front of USB COMPOSITE DEVICES to expand it, you will a list of USB devices, right click on each of them & click UNINSTALL and then restart the computer.Once the computer is restarted wait for couple of minutes and then try to use a USB device. You should be back in business.

My DameElec 2GB is not working on my XP Computer

try installing the flash drive once through add new hardware wizard from control panel. it might fix the problem for you. also plug the device directly into the usb slot present in the backside of the computer.
