This is a inner/outer burner type assembly? Sounds like a glass top.
Either way, your switch for that burner or the burner needs to be replaced.
If you are able and it is possible, inter change switches to see if it makes a difference. Interchange Large with large, small with small.
If yous switches are connected as one unit, you will not be able to do this. Sorry, I have not looked up your wiring diagram.

I appreciate your inquiry, friend!

I see that you are having an issue with your digital clock shutting off on your Frigidaire range. This could be a potential short within you wiring harness or control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your range and you can do that by disconnecting power from your range for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct your issue you may need to have an electrical component replaced and that is not a simple DIY job. I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Unscrew all parts and lay them out on the garage floor. Scatter them and mix em up good. When done, try and figure out what goes to what. If you have parts left over when done reassembling; just toss them out.

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

I understand the burners on your Frigidaire range are working, however you are having trouble with your oven. Do you have an electric or gas range? Can you elaborate prior to your problems any other symptoms or specific error codes before having this issue? Also, may I have your model number please? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located in the storage drawer, on the right side. With this information I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem. Thank you!

Good Morning Mike, I am happy to assist you!

I understand the oven lockout feature is activated on your range. Try pressing and holding the LOCK symbol for approximately five seconds. A beep will sound and LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked. Your range should resume normal operations. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your range status has changed successfully. Thank you!

Good Afternoon Donna, thank you for your post!

Let's try resetting your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the unit on. Is the unit still advising that the door is locked? An experienced service technician may need to further evaluate this issue if it was not resolved with the power reset. In this case, your unit may possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) and door latch assembly, or a potential wiring failure.

Hi Jeff - Thank you for your question and I understand that you are seeking information on how to adjust the oven door. However, more than likely the hinges would either need to be loosen/tighten or replace depending if they are too damaged. The weight of some range doors and how they are closed can wear over time. Personally, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if they have any updated or alternate door hinges that you can install yourself since this can be a complicate job.

You will need to replace the control board. Here is that part to order.

Hi Will Lawler - If the small element turns on but the large element does not, then more than likely, the range has a faulty burner or switch. If I was in your position, I would personally contact a professional for an accurate diagnosis and to assist with the repairs.

Hello rdbal - Most bake and broiler elements are typically held into place with 4-6 screws or fit(s) in a bracket like connection and then needs to be screwed down. However every unit is different so please contact a professional to move accurately for more information due to safety and liability reasons.

Hi Ron - From what you have described if neither the burners nor oven turns on make sure the electrical connecting is 240V. The oven light and clock portions only required 115V. The clock and oven light working may indicate an electrical circuit breaker supplying the range is tripped or a fuse is blown. Confirm household circuit is correct and the range cord is properly wired to the terminal block.

Sounds like either the elements are bad, or the communication to the elements from the control board is now compromised.

Frigidaire... | Answered on Sep 04, 2012 | 55 views

The click is the relay so I would check the ignitor. If it is "open" replace it. If it "shorted" the valve is likely bad also.

The F3 error code means the the oven tempature sensor has shorted out and the sensor needs to be replaced. This is what the sensor looks likeoldtech2332_89.jpgTo check that it is shorted,unplug it and place meter leads at the plug on the end of it and see if the display on your meter shows 0.00 ohms of resistiance...if it does the sensor indeed has shorted out,a good normally working sensor shouls have a reading of between 1060-1100 ohms resistiance at room temp. a reading of ZERO means that the sensor has shorted and needs to be replaced. the part number for the sensor is 316490001 it could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at;
