Look close by where you hookup the video cable for the PC video input, there should be a small hedphone jack the same size as the MP3 player, it should be labled with PC audio, that is the audio input for PC mode, you will need the cable also.

I have the same problem with not much help from the store where i brought my TV from, they sell their items but as to good old after sales service it is non exsistant unless you are buying. They suggested it was the co-axial cable and also said the most likely factor is if you have a VCR connected then each time you want to watch TV take the aerial out of the VCR and put it directly into the TV, good one if you want to record on the VCR, this doesnt help the problem. Same you, I am still stuck with reception problems. By the way I have a 42' digital in the Loungeroom with VCR, DVD, Surround Sound all hooked up (& to same aerial on roof) with no reception problems, the one I am having trouble with is small digital TV in bedroom (room is next to loungeroom). I am on the Gold Coast in good reception area. Wonder if anyone has found a solution yet.
Unplugged my 32LV67U to vacuum behind it and now
That wall outlet may have frequent surges so try another wall outlet see if it turns back on. If it turns on be sure to use a surge suppressor and never plug the TV directly into the wall outlet. The AC surges will kill the power supply of the TV in short time. See if there's a kill-switch near the ac adapter of the TV if there is turn it on.Get a surge protector/suppressor then try plugging it back in the wall. If still no power then the power board is already damaged, you can send the board too me and I'll repair it for you or seek your local repair center.

First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.

The power source of the tv has been fried by the power surge and it must be replaced, the damage is surely to great to fix it. Pray to all your gods that the damage is limited only to the power source, otherwise the tv is truly dead.

And next time when you have a storm unplug everything with electronics in the house, from every wire.

no bulbs to replace here, i might have better news for you. Toshibas with this time frame has an inverter problem. turn tv on tilt back wards at 45degree angle and flack a light to the screen and look closely if you can see the image the replace the inverter units. to help you see hit menu on remote, the menu is white so will make it more visible. On the back of television you will find three slots, two of which are for plugging in dvd. PROBABLY it may be red and yellow in color. Just attach the cords there and press the av/tv mode or anything similar from your remote. It will switch to a separate channel where you can use the player.

Hi,
I would definitely return the unit to the store, Following the standard steps should have at least got the tv to turn on. Turn it on for a replacement. Most likely you just got a dead unit. These things can and do happen. Please feel free to keep me updated and let me know how the new one works.
Thank you,

The connection for the antenna is facing downward slightly right of the center when facing the front of the TV and about 1/4 of the way up. You should be able to feel the threads on the connection to attach the antenna to. The connection is labled #6 in the diagram.
Good Luck...
