Stop taking any more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that are available to help you recover your photos. This blog article reviews and outlines several of the better ones.

How can i take the date off pictures

Here is your answer. I found it on page 52 of the manual in case you have yours and want to refer to it. Hope this helps.

Setting Date/Time, Display on/off.
1.Set camera to still image mode.
2.Press the button that looks like a oval with a "M"on the top. It may be called the Menu button. (I tried to find out what button this was but couldn't find that info.)
3.Press the right or left button to select the "date Stamp".
4. Press the up or down button to select the desired setting.
Select OFF and neither the date or time will be added your photos.
Select DATE and just the date will be added to your photos.
Select date & Time and both of those will show up on your photos.

I have had to use

Hi,

I am sorry to hear regarding the problem.

What you are describing is an issue with camera's internal lens mechanism. This is a common problem with most of the digital camera's, however what's surprised me when you mentioned you have bought it today. Fortunately, as the camera is under warranty, and would need to be replaced. You have to contact the Polaroid or the seller from where you bought the camera, and he would be able to replace it.

I wish i could have a better solution.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I dropped my Polaroid i735

You dropped it only once? Hmmmm ....

I don't think the problem is with the screen.
It's more like the lens can't focus properly anymore, and there is nothing you can do to fix it.

I'd take it to my local camera repair place, and give them the classic:
"Don't ask me what happened. I lent it to my baby-brother, and he said the camera worked OK."

They just may give you a free estimate.

Need drivers for Polaroid i735

Try NOT using a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Try to buy a broken camera through EBAY, which has a good LCD screen. You can get it very cheap $5-10. Buy a small screw driver set for $1 from Dollar store. It is easy to open the case and replace the LCD.

My camera doesn't save pictures to a memory card

It's in the settings of your camera. Depending on your options, it may be under save settings, memory, or storage. May be that you just have it set to "save to memory card" and not "save to internal memory".

I accidentally deleted a picture,

Hello

Please download Disc Digger HERE. This is a free tool you can use that works very well and there is no installation required, just run the program once you downloaded it.

Once you have connected the memory card to the computer via either the camera or preferably with a usb card reader , run the program.

On the program , select the dig deep option for accidentaly deleted files or dig deeper for a formatted card. Then select the card you want to do the recovery on and run the program.

The data will be displayed and you can recover it from there. This will only work if the card has not been used since the pictures were lost. Save the files to a location on the computer hard drive and not back to the memory card as this will overwrite the other pictures that still needs to be recovered.

Some of the properties of the files may become lost in the recovery but the pictures should be fine.

Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.

Kind Regards
Andrea
