Bake or broil wont come on buzzing noise

you may need to replace the main electronic control board or it is also called the clock timer.
check the continuity on the bake and broil elements. then you need to check the main power suppl to the range and make sure that the terminal block is in good working order.

Oven element

a few problems can exhist with this problem: no power to unit, high limit open or defective, control defective, temp probe defective, heating element defective or burnt, and damaged or loose wire do to heat. You need a multimeter to test all these components in order to diagnose. If your familiar with electronic fundamentals I could walk you through the process.

F-3 displayed

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. F3 error means Open oven temperature sensor or thermal fuse. You’ll need to check for open wire connection between EOC (Electronic Oven Control - Clock) and the oven temperature sensor. Replace sensor if wiring is not a problem.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Range

Unfortunately this usually means the Clock/Timer assembly needs to replaced. The Clock/Timer controls all the features of the oven, while the surface burners are controlled by each individual infinite switch on the control panel. Thats why your surface burners will still work, but the oven does not. That fact that there is no display also is a symptom the board is defective. They boards do not have a fuse and are not servicebale. It needs to be replaced. This is not a difficult repair and can easily be repalced by the average do-it-yoursefler. The following link epxlains how:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3727366-replacing_control_kitchen_range

The part number for a replacement circuit board is 316207522. The overlay (the plastic preprinted template that is applied to the board) is sold separately (part number 316220804). If the current overlay is still in good shape, it can be peeled off and reused.

You can purchase replacement parts at any of the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
pcappliancerepair.com
appliancepartspros.com
repairclinic.com

All these sites are reputable and offer great service with competitive pricing. So, shop and compare.

NOTE: The Sears website sells a refurbished version of the control board for much less than the other sites. The part number is 316207502R.

If you have any questions about this repair, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Oven door is locked and will not clear. I have tried to reset

Hello JJ, Try pressing the "Clear/OFF" button to stop the self cleaning cycle. It will take up to an hour before the oven will unlock the door, if the oven has started to heat up for the cleaning process

You may have started the default 3 hour self-clean cycle, so you can attempt to reduce the time to 2 hours, by pushing the timer down so it displays "2" which would indicate the shorter cleaning cycle. Then at the end of the timed cleaning cycle, it should open up, once the temperature has cooled sufficiently for it to be safe to open, again, which takes up to an hour to sufficiently cool.

Typically, when an oven is accidently put into self clean mode, the timer "kicks in" and the timer has to run out before the oven will unlock. With the older mechanical knob timers, you could just rotater the timer until you reached the end of the pre-set time. With the electronic timers, you have to let the timer "count down" until it reaches zero before the oven will unlock the oven door.

Here's a link to the Frigidare site where you can select your specific FEF352 version and download a owners manual, free of charge.

http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals

Just enter in FEF352 and then scroll down the page until you find your particular version of teh FEF352 oven/range and then click on "complete owners guide" (english) to get the manual in an Adobe pdf format.

I hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!
