No, since there are no factory settings - the only thing that changes is the amount of memory used by the recordings. To delete them all press Menu, select Setup, select Delete dictations, press OK. For a hardware restart just remove the batteries for half an hour.
If the unit is unresponsive even after that then the controller is defective and that can't be fixed - the recorder is dead.

if you install any other version apart from the one you have, it might work but have a reduced functionality

Hmm it sounds like a memory issue inside the actual printer. You say you have tried turning off and on, but have you tried fully unplugging the unit from the wall for a good 2 minutes, hit a few buttons to make sure power is drained from the capacitors, and then plugging back in. Does it still show "print stored document?" Please let me know and I can help further.

drivers and owners operating manual are almost always free for download from manufacturer's website. look for support or help sections. install drivers and software first, then connect device.

Have you tried switching it off and back on?

It is not normal for someone to send 1600 sheets via Fax.
Unplug the fax/phone line from the fax machine...verify that your fax is ok by just making a copy on it without the line plugged in...then report the problem to your local phone company.

AUTO means it will answer a fax automatically. You must set to MANUAL, then you will have to press the START button to receive a fax.

Its either that the memory on the motherboard went bad and needs replacement or that you need to clear the buffer of the ram in order to make this fax stop resending the same info.

Consult your manual to clear the memmory's buffer and write me back with the results if that fails :)
