I have an 02 buick p.a. battery, relays fuses have all been checked and r good when I turn the key the dash lights up but when I turn the key all the way it doesn't make a sound

Remove battery terminals and clean both posts and terminalswith sandpaper until you see shiny metal. The black coating is lead sulphate which has a high resistance to current flow both into and out of the battery. Have a load test done on the battery for a failing cell

My Philips GoGear Aria (8GB)

Hi poseidonisco,

I would attempt a Repair/Recovery, which will restore your device to factory settings as well as update the firmware and improve functionality of your player.

You can find a lot of valuable information on the Philips Support Site:

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SA3125/37&slg=en&scy=US

After performing the Repair, allow your player to charge for several hours and be sure to practice a regular charging routine. If you have any additional questions, you can chat at the above link or you can reach Consumer Care at 1-888-744-5477.

Hope this helps! If so, let me know by rating this solution. Thanks!

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:

Use a pen tip or other sharp object to insert the RESET hole gently on the side of the player and connect it again to your PC.
If it is still not recognized, your player may be at fault. Try the Philips Device Manager software.

NOTE: Contents will be removed by using the repair function.
  1. Install the Philips Device Manager and run it with your player connected to your PC. You can download it under the Software & drivers section.
  2. Click the Repair tab in the Device Manager, press and hold the corresponding recovery key on the player when connecting it to your PC.

  3. Follow the PC screen to recover your player.
You can find the recovery key on your player from the below table.

It was running and then

You should try to repair the player using Philips Device Manager. The procedure that you should do is described detailed step by step at the manufacturer's web site:

http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?scy=BE&slg=ENG&sct=PORTABLE_VIDEO_PLAYERS_SU&cat=MP3_AND_MEDIA_PLAYERS_CA&grp=SOUND_AND_VISION_GR&session=20100703194931_66.249.65.15&ctn=SA3125/02&list=aa12_list_partial.html&mid=Link_DiagnosticInformationTool&hlt=Link_DiagnosticInformationTool

At first select the category "communication with the PC" and follow the instructions you get there.
Finally you will get to the state "repair function" and you will be able to hope successful action.
Good luck!

My mp3 player just blinks

Make sure you are using the correct power cable. If you are charging from USB and it still blinks, you may need to contact Philips for service. If you are charging from a wall outlet, try using the USB cable instead to eliminate the possibility of a wrong cord.
