How do I Put Music on an NW-E003F Sony MP3 Player?
The Sony Walkman E003F is a small portable device resembling a flash drive. This Walkman has 1 GB of storage which accommodates about 685 songs. When the battery is at capacity, the Walkman can play back up to 28 hours of audio. The small player has a built-in USB connector to make downloading convenient. If you want to add songs to your MP3 player, you must use Windows Explorer to download MP3-, AAC- and WMA-formatted audio to the device.
Instructions
Remove the USB cap on the player to reveal the USB plug.
Insert the USB plug on the player into the computer's USB port.
Select "My Computer" from the desktop "Start" menu.
Double-click on the "WALKMAN" drive folder to open it.
Double-click to open the "MUSIC" folder.
Drag the audio file from the save location on the computer and drop it in the "MUSIC" folder. The songs will load and play in the order that they are dropped into the folder.
Hope it helped.

format error
Hi,
Follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
The NO DATA or FORMAT ERROR message may occur if the portable player has been formatted using the format utility in Windows Explorer. To correct this issue, initialize (format) the portable player using the Initialize or Format utility built into your Walkman player.
Reset the unit by pressing the RESET button with a small object such as a paper clip.
If the issue persists, I suggest that you un-install and reinstall the latest version of the Sonic Stage Software and transfer the songs again to resolve the issue. Click here to download the latest version of the SonicStage Software.
This should resolve the issue.

How do i delete all songs on player
To do that it most likely would be best to simply factory re-set it again, and return it to "Straight-from-factory" specs. That should be in the documentation that came with it.
use the software that came with the device, or if it shows up in MY Computer as a HDD, then use windows to do it...you can then do as you wish, simply Choose DELETE Click on a file, hold shift key down, keep selecting, they will turn blue, as selected, then Click OK, and they will be gone forever.
