After installing printer & drivers
After installing the printer and the software you must reboot the computer to register the hardware changes. After booting up open your "printers" from the Control Panel or Start "settings - printers".
Make sure that the printer is listed. If it is listed, right click on it and select "properties". Now the printer control panel will come up. Select - "Print test page". If the software and cables are installed correctly the printer will be listed and it will print the test page.
In the same way, with a right click on the printer you can select to make it your "Default" printer.
New operating systems will see the new hardware and offer to install it for you. If you say yes and OK the computer will do an internet search and it should find the correct drivers for your operating system. If it does not find the correct drivers for your operating system you may have to the companies web page and select support - downloads and find your correct driver.
I currently have health insurance $469.00 per month and need to go to a cheaper option. What do I get free as I am a senior citizen ?
If you are a senior citizen, you should know by now, nothing is ever free. Ha Ha. But seriously, you don't say your exact age or where you are located. If you are in the United States and a citizen or permanent resident, you will qualify for Medicare Part A at age 65. If you worked in the US, you had FICA taxes withheld from your pay and this is part of what those FICA taxes were for. If the coverage is not as substantial as you like, you have the option to purchase medicare supplements which will offer additional coverage. If you are low income, you may qualify for medicaid but if you've been able to pay $469/month, it's unlikely your income is low enough to qualify. There is also the Obamacare health plans which you can check on the governments health care exchange which may offer subsidies (paid for by taxpayers) to help reduce what you have to pay for health insurance. Just be careful before purchasing one that you understand what you are getting, many of these plans have very high deductibles and coinsurance making them almost useless.
