Touch pad is blank
If it doesn't come back to life when you disconnect from power, then reconnect, it's probably an internal fault and you need to consult an HP service outlet or competent technician
Quicken 2008 won't print anything in reports in black
You need to replace the Black cartridge, as it appears the colour one is fine. Look in the printer options on your PC for a display of ink levels, and you'll probably find the black down to zero. If you've used generic cartridges, not genuine HP, you may find the printer can't actually read the ink levels.

Welcome to Fixya
Sounds like a problem with the printhead. You may try this steps first before we conclude that the problem is the printhead.
Step One: Cleaning the copper contacts.
1) Take a lint free cloth or a cotton ball, damp it with normal water.
2) Clean the copper contacts on the cartridge thoroughly.
3) You have the same type of copper contacts on the printer also, if you are able to reach them clean the copper contacts on the printer also.
4) Reseat the cartridge back in their place.
5) When the printer is ON, unplug the power cord from the printer.
6) Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
7) Re plug the power cord back into the printer and switch ON the printer.
If the issue persists please proceed with the next step.
Step Two: Perform a power drain on the printer.
1) Remove the power cord from the product
2) Press and hold power button for about a minute (While the power cord is not connected to the printer).
3) Release the button.
4) Connect the power cord to the product
5) Use the On button to turn on the product.
If same problem persists then the problem would be tre printhead. Contact the store where you purchased the unit and ask for replacement since you just bought this printer.

I pulled the main input tray out- how do I put it back
Try looking at HP's page on your model here:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documentSubCategory?tmp_rule=65515&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3315742Is it a 'carriage jam' or an 'out of paper' error? The paper input tray on your machine should go back in similarly to a kitchen cabinet drawer. Lift up slightly and push in, and it should slide back into place.
HP D7260 will not print two sided
This model printer does not have a duplex unit and therefore cannot print double sided printing automatically.DOUBLE SIDED PRINTING USING A SINGLE SIDED PRINTERIf your printer does not have a duplex unit then the printercannot print double sided pages automatically. You can print double sided pages but you have to do it one page at a time.First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn thepage upside down and the print Page 2.Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for therest of the document.I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up onboth sides of the page so it reads correctly.
