Cannot install hp color laserjet
Specific print driver and software information for printing in Win 7 is
available for HP LaserJet, Color LaserJet and LaserJet MFP products.
This printer cannot be installed with installation disc or download.
May i know what is the error message that you get while installing.

document (from the computer) and select print from the menu, - In the print screen window select 'properties' Or 'Preferences' or 'Properties'- In the next window click 'maintenance' - do all the cleaning process - this will fix the problem.Hope this helps, thanks!

Hp Laserjet 2605dn - error says paper jam, but
this could be either data corruption, a damaged sensor or a hardware failure (eitehr the formatter board or the dc controller)
Try an nvram
Try doing a hard or reset or nvram:
1. Turn the printer off
2. Hold down the check or select and the cancel button
3. Reboot the printer while holding the buttons and hold until permanent storage is displayed. Let go of the buttons and wait for the ready message on the display.
If the problem is still there after the nvram you will need to have the printer serviced at a local hp support provider or contact hp for warranty options

I have an HP laser 2605. Black, cyan and yellow
This is a common problem on these printers.
Cause is dirty lenses and or mirrors in the laser unit.
This happens over time (as the laser unit is not sealed), and particularly if you've had a leaky toner cartridge. Unfortunatly there are a lot of poorly remaufactured, leaky cartridges around for these printers.
Solution is remove laser unit, open it, clean lenses and mirrors (very carefully to avoid disturbing alignments, and scratching).
The laser unit is deep in the printer, so it's quite a lot of work, but very rewarding when you've fixed it.
Alternatives - buy a replacement laser unit and swap and clean old one at leisure, or get an exchange refurb printer - if you think your mechanical skills aren't up to it.
HP2605 shows 50.7 erro
Sounds like a faulty sensor. Buy a can of compressed air blow it throughout the printer. Sometimes toner dust sits on the sensors giving a false reading. If after this you still get an error you're going to need a printer engineer!
My printer is printing colour red faintly.
Sherry, in all probability it is the "scanner assembly" HP can fix this for $279 in the US using HP Express exchange 1 day ship, this was the result of their active chat. I am having the same problem and am going to dismantle the printer myself to see if I can't clean the scanner mirror myself. If you search the following words on google you will find some info, fading red tones laser jet 2605, one of the first results is a page on the HP site specifically on laserjet printers. I wish I had a quick fix that would help; however, a new cartridge won't help!

Do like this, go to File, Print, Advance and choose print as an image.
Or you can do like this. In printer properties color management add a new color profile.choose U.S. Sheetfed Uncoated v2, apply.
Computer can't find printer
Your using an Ethernet cable and your not on a network. You most likely need a USB cable, or connect the computer and printer together with a router. How are you accessing the internet from home?
