I have a nokia e51, the navigation key is not working.

Nokia E51 can't be charged via usb cable connected to PC or laptop.

Same happened to my friend. I unlocked it this way: I called from my phone and without answering to incoming phone call I started typing numbers on locked out phone and started browsing through phonebook (without answering). At some point it will say keypad is unlocked.

there is a service center number in your message setting. if it is edited your messages wont go . correct service center can be taken from your service provider. if that is right the reset your phone once it will start working fine.

You need to delete some messages, files from the memory card and the phone memory to all some applecation to work. Thanks

just go to it settings..............in settings go to phone in da last there will b an option of restore factory or orignal phone settings.....use select that option.......and there u ready to go

Try reinstalin the firmware.

To resolve this issue:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Network and Dial-up Connections.
   
   NOTE: For Windows Server 2003, click Start, point to Control Panel, and then point to Network Connections.
2. Right-click the appropriate dial-up networking connection, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Networking tab, and then click Settings.
4. Click to clear the Negotiate multi-link for single link connections check box (if it is selected).
5. Click OK, and then click OK.
6. Double-click the connection, and then click Dial.
   • If this procedure resolves the issue and you can establish a dial-up connection, you do not have to follow the remaining steps in this article.
   • If this does not resolve the issue and you cannot establish a dial-up connection, go to step 7 to continue to troubleshoot this issue.
7. Right-click the connection, and then click Properties.
8. Click the Security tab.
9. Under Security options, click Allow unsecured password in the Validate my identity as follows box, and then click OK.
10. Double-click the connection, and then click Dial to verify that you can establish a dial-up connection.

The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-5 or 6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.

This is a firmware problem no doubt.

If there is a Nokia Care Center in your location just walk in and if phone is still under warranty it will be fixed for free else you might have to pay for the re-installation of some parts and the parts too.

Dear Friend, You have To do Following...

• To assign a number key to a phone number, select Menu
• Tools
• Speed dial. Scroll to the number key (2 - 9) on the screen, and select Options > Assign.
