Hi I would like to

Are you sure this is the correct address??

If you have access to the internet, the normal way to access a home router would be this

Start
RUN
CMD

in the black window that pops up, type IPCONFIG /ALL

Look through the list for the active adapter, and then read the ip address that is listed as DEFAULT GATEWAY , this will be the address of your router (other than the 0.0.0.0 addresses) You may have more than one adapter, however the active one will have addresses next to them that arnt 0.0.0.0

I have a problem in

Sounds like it may be a hardware fault. Have you tried resetting the router? I don't have the exact model but there's almost always a recessed button on the back which can be pressed with a paperclip or something similar. Holding this for a few seconds will reset the router settings to their factory defaults.

The default Zyxel password is usually 1234 or admin.

Router ZyXEL HW -D1, Laptop

2. check the manufacturers site for update instruction set
3.Here are some step to try to see if the router is indeed grandfathered:
1.Log into router. Using either 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1 in a browser window that is ( internet Explorer or Firefox)
2. Verify wireless router name( on the computer) >>> ( on/off) ( router status window)
3.Note router name you are connecting to.
4.. Check the laptop/desktop do ipconfig /all to see current IP addresses.
5. Set the laptop up in the router by WEP KEY or MAC address. This set up in the "security tab" in the router. using 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 to access through a browser.
6.Note router name you are connecting to.
7. Move the laptop about 20ft away and try to log on to the internet.
This is for all routers to set up wirelessly.
8. check for firmware update at the manufacturers site for your model router
9. cell phones, cordless phones, digital TV's, can affect the data signal from a router. Also distance from the router can be a factor. If your router is in a basement place the router to a upper floor and center it in the room.

Hi above is a link for your manual, download and it shows you in there.

Most often a hard reset will return the router to factory specs, and to logon with a browser you must then enter a login and password, usually they are admin and admin but differ from router to router.

If however you mean you WAP/WEP logon password, this is a different matter, again it requires a reset, and re-doing the internal WAP/WEP password setup again, this time noting down the "Key".

This too is all explained in the manual.

How to reset router

Hello!

There's a pinhole on the back of it. Using a paperclip, press it for 20 seconds... Wait 2 minutes untill the device fully reboots.

If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Best regards,

To reset to factory defaults

1) Power off the router,

2) Hold down the recessed reset button on the rear of the unit (keep it held down)3) Power on the router with the reset button still pressed down.4) You will notice all the LAN lights flash at the same time which will indicate that the router has reset - this takes up to 30 seconds.5) When all the LAN lights do flash simultaneously you can let go of the reset button. Your router is now reset.  The default IP address is "192.168.1.1" and the default password is "1234".Also consult:  http://www.zyxel.co.uk/web/support_faq_detail.php?faqID=17&pid=20060330164958

I have a wireless router

If you have a working Windows wireless machine, you can extract the key from the Windows machine and use it on your other devices.
Download this: http://download.cnet.com/WirelessKeyView/3000-2092_4-10614187.html
and then run it.

You can learn the WEP or WPA key in use which you can then use on other devices.
If there are no other working wireless devices, you will need to log on to your access point and reset the password there. The instructions for that depend on your access point.

If it is a WEP key, it may come in two forms - a "password" or a number that is 10 or 26 digits long. You need to use the 10 or 26 character version in the iPod touch.

Hello i got the zyxel

First you must tell me what you are trying to do... becaus you talk about OPEN NAT (i'm not an expert in gaming) but in th network world NAT stand's for Network Address Translation from the WAN side of the router to the LAN side... and Upnp is a protocol, nothing to do with DMZ (DeMilitarized Zone) which involves opening ALL ports in the FireWall of your router to a specific machine on the LAN side....

Dont forget opening ports is opening doors to hackers... (I think the term NAT in the gaming world has some thing to do with controlling access to other players) post me if i'm wrong!!!

Cheers!

My xbox says nat strict

go into you router settings and change the settings. Whatever router you have , go to their website and do a check out the tutorials. Normally, you would go under your settings by going to your web browser and typing in 192.168.0.1 and then hit enter, this will take you to your router settings. This is normally the default for linksys. other routers use diff ip address to access their routers. The manufacturers website should help out loads.

I have a P-660HW-D1 v2

follow this guide
http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Set_Up_Port_Forwarding_on_Your_Xbox_360
setup your xbox with a static ip address.
setup your router with the following ports forward to the ip address you gave your xbox
Since you've already assigned a specific address to your Xbox, you can now open up the individual ports of this address. According to Microsoft, the ports that require forwarding are UDP 88, UDP 3074, and TCP 3074. If your router requests a range, just be sure that the numbers entered span this range (i.e., 87-89 for the first port, 3073-3075 for the second, and so on).

My nat type is 3

1) Type in "192.168.1.1" into the address bar of your browser. The log in page for your browser appears. 2) Enter your password - by default this is "1234", but you might have changed it. If you have changed it before log in with that new one.
A page should load with a lots of information. On the left side there should be a panel of stuff, what you want is "advanced settings". If advanced settings IS there on the left go to step "a" below. If advanced settings (or in fact anything) IS NOT down the left proceed to step "b" below.
a) Happy days. All you have to do is click the "+" beside advanced settings to expand it, then select UPnP. Then just click ALL of the boxes (there's 3 of them I think). That's it.
b) You are logged into some sort of stupid mode where you can't change anything. All you can do is refresh the page or log out. This is probably because you entered "1234" as the password, but in fact this password has previously been changed by you or someone else. So go back to the log in screen (192.168.1.1 in the address bar) and put in the one you changed it to, if you can remember it. If you do remember it and log in successfully (successfully being that you can see "advanced settings" on the left), go back to step "a" above. If you still can't get to that page it means you don't know your password. So you're going to have to reset your router. Go to step "c".
c) Resetting your router. Turn the router off. Then hold the reset button for 30 seconds and power on the router at the same time. Now I think you'll have to set up your router again like when you got if first, to connect to the internet, so do it. Then log in to 192.168.1.1 again. This time the password "1234" should bring you to the proper screen with advanced settings. If it does go to step "a". If it doesn't go to step "d".
d) You'll have to default reset your router. Turn it off. Turn it on and hold reset for 15 seconds. Some light will flash. Release button and let it reboot. Now log in to 192.168.1.1 again. If it works and you can select "advanced settings" go to step"a". If you STILL can't see advanced settings you're at the end of the line and I don't know what to do. Contact your provider or something.
If you haven't done this already...on your ps3: Open up network >> internet connection. Choose wireless/wired - whichever you want. Choose "Address settings" - "custom", "IP address" - choose manual.Enter these:
IP address - "192.168.1.50" Subnet Mask - "255.255.255.0" Default Router - "192.168.1.1" Primary DNS and Secondary DNS same as default router.
Then enter than. Don't know what MTU is (it'll come up next). You're done.
