Although you might not still need the info, I still post my findings which might help others. I had the same issue as you described, I found that the 4.7uf 400v electrolytic cap on the control pcb (c31)has failed, it holds only little of its capacitance and esr has gone up crazy high about 150ohm, simply replace it with same value (pay attention to polarity)and it works as new. Btw the other 3 brown colour caps are very high quality elna brand ones, they measured good as new, the one(light blue) failed is random unknown brand, no surprise.

If you just bought Dishwasher ESF2433W I suggest you contact an authorized service center because the appliance is under warranty.. E4 : if overflow micro-switch is act and keep for longer than 2 seconds, the E4 would occur. At the same time, the buzzer will alarm for 30 seconds and error 4 will be shown. Hello JOHN, thanks for your post! From the information you have provided your Electrolux dishwasher is displaying error code 4. "E4" stands for drying damper which means it could be a potential problem with your damper or the main control. I would recommend performing a reset and that could clear any false error codes. To reset your dishwasher flip the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. Hello Kevin, thank you for your post! From my understanding your Electrolux dishwasher is not fully dissolving the detergent tablet. It may not be an issue with the water heating up it could be a possible problem with the water not receiving adequate pressure or not enough water. Does your dispenser have any build up inside of it? Have your spray arms been recently cleaned? I would recommend cleaning the dispenser and spray arms out. I can also provide you with information regarding any heater inside of your dishwasher. In order to do so I need your model number. You can locate your model number on the inside wall of your dishwasher. With this information I would be happy to assist you further. -Matt

Hello there and welcome to fixya. I understand that your machine has stopped heating there is a few things that may cause this if you can give me just a bit more info i think we can figure out what is going on does the unit sound like it is trying to heat normally there will be a sound coming from the unit as it heats up if not if you are able to you may want to check your cycle timer or the heating element itself check them for ohms ..with a meter if you have one. You can also unplug the machine and quickly press and hold the power button in for a minimum of 45 seconds to allow the circuit computer to reset itself then release the button and wait 10 min then plug in the machine and see if a error code comes up ok Please do this and let me know what the outcome is, there is still a lot more i can have you check but i want you to check the most simple thing first ok Please keep me posted Best regards Michael

Resolution 1. Make sure the door is fully closed. Open and close the door again. If there is a click, this indicates that the door was closed properly. 2. Make sure the delay start function is disabled. Consult the user manual for detailed instructions on disabling this mode. 3. Check if the previous cycle is still in progress. If a cycle is still in progress it needs to be cancelled before programming the next cycle. To cancel the cycle, please read the section regarding cancelling cycles in the user manual for the dishwasher. On some models, the panel will show how you reset a cycle. Resetting may vary depending on the model so it is a good idea to check or download the user manual. 4. Check if "Ultra-quiet" or "Night" options are selected: These options involve long pauses in the wash cycle, lasting up to 20 minutes. The cycle may still be running. 5. Check if there are any error messages or alarms: The error message can be a flashing LED, a sequence of beeps or a code shown on the display. Consult your user manual for detailed information on how to resolve the issue. 6. Check for possible power issues:

• Make certain that the appliance is plugged in and switched on.
• Plug another device into the same socket to determine whether there is power.
• If the socket does not work, contact a local electrician to resolve the issue.

7. Check if there are tripped relays or a blown fuse.

• Reset the circuit-breaker / RCD device or replace the fuse.

Thanks for this information. I was able to follow triburi's instruction and just make sure all the electrical connector is connect properly. It works after i put it all back. I guess i am just lucky one of the connection come lose.

First thing I'd check then is, is there water actually getting to the fridge? Then, has the fridge ever been turned off during this process? Wondering if there might be a frozen line somewhere. After that, my only other approach would be to dismantle as much as I dared to see if there is a blockage in some piece of tubing somewhere. Hope this helps.
