I have found a person that has the power cords. We got the same run around about the Disney supplier getting the parts in a "few weeks". I happened to come across Jamie on Ebay. He had refurbished players and mentioned that he had power cords. I bought two power cords from him in case I needed one in the future. I received them today and they are exactly what I was looking for. I don't know if I can give out email address so I will give you his Ebay seller ID. It is oshog23. I bought them for $10 each and it included USPS Priority Mail.

A/V Adaptor stands for Audio Video Adapter. Typically with the game system you will have jacks that are RCA plugs (Yellow for Video and Red & White for Audio) that will plug into the side of a TV or VCR as long as you have the right type of plug you should be able to plug it in and use it for sound and video. The main thing is that you will need to have a source of power for the video game. the RCA plugs will not provide power.

I am sorry for just now responding to your request. I would go ahead and clean the optical reader as this is the most likely problem. If you listen really close when the disc is loaded and it appears to spin up then the problem should not be your spindle motor. Clean the optical reader first and attempt to replay the dvd. Also check to make sure the dvd is not scratched or damaged in any way that would prevent the laser from picking it up and reading the disc. i had the same problem. i found that two large hair clip worked (like the huge ones that use to keep long hair up with). i put one on one side and another the other side. couldn't stand to waste my 200 dollars that i spent on the product.

Your DVD player is set to the 480p (progressive) scan mode. Place it back to the 480i (interlaced) mode and it should work normal.

when you turn off the car - and also in the short period of time when you're starting it and the engine is turning over - all power to the devices in the car is shut off.

for this reason, the dvd player cannot remember where you last left off.
