The cord that connects the 2 together is broken

if itsthe power cord then its easy to find one most radio shacks carry it and if its the video you can find it there too

2nd screen not working sound but no picture

I had to "jiggle" the wire on the main unit and eventually my picture came on. I would kinda bend the wires up & down until the second unit came on. The cord that goes between the 2 players is extremely sensitive and I have replaced mine once already. I still have to mess with it every once in a while, like when we hit a bump or something.

Brand new! Stopped reading discs,

I would take it back to the store, there is a malfunction in the laser pickup assembly, and there is nothing can be done to correct it, a manufacture defect.

Very Good Daniel,
if you are good with a srewdriver.. you could use a DVD from a computer and swap it to disney
Does the door to DVD slides out or pop the lid.
You still can swap if you are careful and you know what you are doing
I've done a few times.
Let me know in the future, if you can't, you can send to me for repair

After playing a cd in unit will no longer read

Had the same symptom. The unit would play CDs but not DVDs. The DVD laser was at fault. Purchased and replaced laser unit KHM-313AHC (ebay- $20) and it now works fine.

Blowing fuses

Isn't the 1 amp fuse too small? Usually 12 volt operated electronics require a higher amperage fuse. Check with the adaptirs owners manual first before changing again.
