Regarding a Vizio V755-H4.
On a TV this size changing the strips is going to be quite difficult to do without damaging the panel, you positively need 4 suction cups (can be ordered from shopjimmy.com) and 2 people to remove and replace the screen, if you try to do it without them you will most likely damage the panel and the set will not work once you get new lamps in. Also you most likely will find 2 sided seal tape around the bottom of the panel (under the panel and on top of the panel holder), to keep screen cleaner from running down the screen and damaging the panel boards. To get the front frame off, they use clips that are part of the frame but there are a few things to remove before the front frame, start by removing the speakers and any metal pieces on the bottom back, there vary from model to model but generally include the metal leg holders, tcon board cover, if it has a tcon board, ect, you have to get at the panel boards before flipping the set on it's back, once you remove the front frame you won't able to flip the set over without the panel partially falling out and damaging it, it's much easier to remove these parts before laying the TV on its back, also remove the panel board ribbon cables when the TV is laying on it's face. Once you have the set on its back, take a screwdriver and and put it between the outside frame and metal inside frame and move it while pulling down on the frame, and you will feel it release, you will find a clip every few inches, just take it slow or you will break the tabs off then the frame won't stay on once it's replaced, good luck with this adventure, changing them for the 1st time can be fairly hard to do, also look at the bottom of the outside frame as some vizio model sets have small screws along with clips.
