Very blurry picture / vertical colour lines
It sounds that the LVDS cable; the cable that connects to T'Con board to LCD panel is loosely fitted. Check it first. If it is found OK, the panel itself should be suspected. If you wish to get more details,

Check its sound settings. Check whether 'mute' function is on. If all the setting are ok, check its speaker. If speaker too is ok, check and replace damaged component/s at the audio output section circuit. If you wish to get some service help,

Sharp Lc-26sb24u white screen with sound
You will get a white screen when you unplug the t-con from the main board. Doing so removes power to the LCD panel. Verify that all of your voltages from the power supply are correct. If they are, I'd look at the t-con board. It sounds like there is a problem with the t-con that is pulling down the main board.
