Ilo LCT32HA32 tv wont turn on, no red standby light

It could be the power or main board that is giving issues...if your able pull the back off and look for a pin on connector marked PSON or PON...that is line that tells the power board to come out of sleeping and go to work, you should see a change in the voltage when the on button is pushed, if you do then the main is doing its work and its the main if you don't see a voltage change then chances are its the power board

ILo Television

I had the same problem with another store with grass trimmers. i tried to take it back and they gave me the manufacture phone number and yes it was China. They accused me of using it wrongly. All i did was put gas and oil mixture in it and tried to operate it like others I purchased. It never ran ten minutes but when I took it back they said it was used. Then they said if I spent more money and buy a good one they would cover it. WHY SELL JUNK.

Havent used it in a month and now wont turn on

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Will not power on led flashing red and now no led

Reset your TV. Unplug your iLO TV from the wall and remove any connected devices. Hold the front power button in for five seconds, then release. Plug your TV back in, turn it on and confirm that it is working again. Read more: http://www.ehow.com/how_5458819_troubleshoot-ilo-tv.html#ixzz2tRuiKHvE

Will not turn on

I see so many here with no sound/nopicture issues:ISSUES: 1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.4. Be safe and if you do not know what you are doing don't open the set.Answers to issues:1. RE:fuses---if a blown fuse is found get a good replacement(not the genericones like Radio Shack). Many fuses are special even aside from amperage--Don'tput a higher rated amperage fuse in the set for any reason.2. RE: power supply in set: if total dead aside from main fuse the set uses astandby power supply that runs 7/24 and a main supply (some are combined andsome not. Here aside from checking fuses you want to examine all the filter caps on thepower/standby to see if any are puffed up or buldged up in some fashion--Iattach a photo of a good one---top should be silver metal and PERFECTLY flatand have no brown material coming out on top or bottom. What happens in the standby area is they use caps with too low a voltage rating(saves money) which causes them to fail in a year or two---the standby runs7/24 and the heat dries out the caps and they fail.3. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have tobuy and try a board to see if it fixes it or not.4. Safety first--no TV set is worth getting injured or even killed over.4_16_2012_1_02_47_pm.jpg

Ilo LCT32HA36 won't show a picture but does have power

Hi, I had a computer monitor that acted similar one time and what I found were that there were some bad capacitors in the power supply board inside. They were identified by the swelled up rounded ends and the heat discoloration of them. They look like little aluminum cans with a vinyl sleeve shrunk around them with the component values written on them. A normal one is flat on the end with no signs of any leakage around them of a brownish blackish substance similar to wax or tar. They are relatively inexpensive at an electronics supply store($1-2 each) so I replaced them all. This will require some soldering and electronic repair knowledge though. The power supply could not stabilize so it just kept shutting down the picture that only displayed for a brief instant.
Good Luck!

DOES NOT TURN ON

HelloOpen your TV and chekc whether the fuse in the power supply board has blown out or not. If it has blown out, never replace it with same type; befor troublshoot the reason for the blown out for the fuse. There must be some reason for the fuse to blow out. Without rectifying it, if you replace it with a new fuse, it may cause more damage to the set.The power supply board to your TV will look like this.1_10_2012_4_00_19_am.jpg

MY ILO LCT27HA36 TV won't come on, it just stays in standby mode/

I had the same problem. Then it worked for a while with me unplugging it and plugging it back in. Then one day it bit the dust. Nothing but the red light.

I found the solution on this website and I am trying to find it to thank the guy who posted it. For less than 10 bucks at Radio Shack, I was able to fix the problem with his instructions. And I know little to nothing about electronics. What it boils down to is this:
1. Lay the TV face down on something soft.
2. Take out the gazillion screws in the back until the back panel(s) come off.
3. Where the power cord plugs in, there is a ground wire going to a screw and another plug that you can undo. On this circuit board lies the problem.
4. Remove the circuit board (there are several other plugs on it. They all fit only one way, so I didn't pay much attention to how they came off.
5. Look on the board at the light blue cylindrical shaped capacitors. I don't remember how many there are, but look at the top of them. Find any that are bulging slightly at the top. They should be easy to spot. I had six on mine that were bulging. If you are handy with a soldering iron, remove the bad ones, making sure where each one comes from. There are a couple of different types/sizes. It is written on the side of each the resistance and what I assume is the voltage.
6. Go to the local Radio Shack and purchase new resistors. Note: I had some that were 1000 um and 36v or something and some that were 440 um and 16v. I couldn't find an exact match on one of those, but according to who I got my instructions from, as long as the resistance (um) number is the same, you can go up in the volts. So I ended up replacing some that were 16v with like 35v but the resistance (um) was the same and there are no problems.
7. Solder them carefully back into place. The circuit board is clear about which hole is positive (+) so don't get them backwards. The ones I bought from Radio Shack had a stripe on the side that was negative.
8. Put it all back together, and there ya have it.

Cheap fix. I admit I was darn skeptical it would work. I had already bought a new tv, but decided I wouldn't be out much if it didn't work. But it is working like the day I bought it again. And, it has a better picture than the Philips LCD tv that I bought to replace it.

Wish I could find the guy I got that info from. I was very impressed and grateful.

Hope this works for someone.
