How do i connect the remote to TV?

This model does not appear to have a connection available to allow TV audio to transmit to the Home Theater System. As such, that which you have experienced will be normal operation. Check more details at this forum: Looking for Answers about LG Electronics LFD790

I would recommend any video go directly to the TV, not come FROM it. And the best audio make its FIRST stop at the audio device, not through the TV. Everything you see on a TV these days usually comes from some other electronics, not its own tuner. Fewer interconencts mean fewer problems and less expense from unnecessary cables.

Eject lock

Get a paper clip and unbend it so you have a straight wire. Then look closely at the dvd tray and next to the eject button you will see a tiny hole. Push the paperclip wire into the hole and manually release the dvd tray.

Dvd player stuck in 'demo repeat mode'

If pressing the stop button on the unit doesn't work, try unplugging the unit for a few mintues, plug it back in, then press and hold the stop button again, that always work.

I agree that this is not the most superior device on the market and sound is average, but it has many advantages that others just don't offer - small size, no complicated cables, unbeatable price and has a very nice appearance, makes all other look like dinosaurs. Untill all others catch up with that, I'm keep this...

Need remote code for Philips HTS3565D for ATT U-verse remote

the remote has too small buttons. Is there a universal remote available with larger buttons ?????

Yes, it's big - the fuse doesn't blows unless something inside got shorted. You will need to test the components to find out what happened: either one of the amplifier circuits failed or the power source itself got shorted.
