If you are using adapter, KS-PD100, it is possible that new iPods wont work with this older adapter, I would recommend to connect your iPhone via AUX on the front of the unit

Most CD players will have a very small hole you can fit a paper clip into and push it
in which releases the CD drive mechansim and starts opening the tray.
You may want to press the RESET button behind the faceplate first and see if rebooting
it will make it cooperate. If you dont have the detachable faceplate completely on
some of the symptons you describe could happen.

If this is a cd changer type, then they have a connection that plugs in the cd changer port and straight to your ipod. Or you can get a nice little wireless fm transmitter off of ebay brand new for $1 plus shipping. You also can use the bluetooth if you have the correct options.
  1. Choose a Bluetooth car radio that meets your personal style and lifestyle. Search manufacturers' Web sites that provide customers with detailed information about Bluetooth car radios, including price and compatibility with other wireless devices.
  2. Step 2 Go to a gadget or automobile shop and scan their Bluetooth-enabled car radios. Compare the units by brand, style, functions, and features. Check out the latest release such as a Bluetooth DVD/CD/MP3 player.
  3. Step 3 Target only units that fall within your budget. While you consider the price, make sure the quality doesn't suffer. Always look for a cheaper but competitive unit and the one that is compatible with other accessories such as car audio speakers and CD players.
  4. Step 4 Test the unit before making a purchase. Make sure it is free from malfunctions. Always buy a product with a warranty in case it develops problems, and keep your receipts for future reference.

If your autochanger has an input as well as an output connector it will be possible. The iPod adapter would have to be plugged into the changer's input, and the changer's output cable would run to the KD-G421.

This manual here from JVC shows a diagram on the middle of page 1 where an i-Pod adapter (I'm assuming you have the KS-PD100) is connected daisy-chained with an XM tuner or a DLP unit. Although it doesn't explicitly say that it would work with a CD changer, I don't think it'll be a problem as long as you have an input on the changer.

To stop the memory loss you need to swap the red and yellow wires around. (battery power and ignition power).

To stop the date loss, you need to cut the electrical ariel/remote blue wire.
