Programming is done on 7310, 7324 and 7316 type sets.
Enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344.
The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming.
At the terminals&sets prompt, press the show key (top right arrow).
The display should now ask for an extension number.
Enter extension number you want to change the name on.
Press the show key (top right arrow)
The display should say LINE ACCESS
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) .
The display should say CAPABILITIES.
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) .
The display say Name.
press the Chng soft key.
use the dial pad to enter the name. advance using the arrow soft key to go to the next letter
ex. Bill = 2,2 -> 4,4,4 -> 5,5,5 -> 5,5,5
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) to enter the name.
Press the release key when finished

Simply pick up the receiver

Try this:
Press "Feature (star) (star) T I M E"
and follow the display prompts.

The system has a built-in feature called "Set Relocation", which will allow you to move your phone to another active telephone jack in your office and the extension number, voicemail box, and all features will stay with your phone.

Have your system administrator turn on Set Relocation, or check your Norstar administration manual for programming details. Or, you can call your telecom service company and have them send a technician.

If you are asking how to setup the voicemail system, the best thing to do is to hire a technician familiar with all the installation & programming procedures. Hope this helps.

Press "Feature 985" - this will show the voicemail extension. Dial "9" and it will prompt you for a password. Using the dialpad, dial "RESETSMPSWD". This will change it back to the default of "0000".

You need to have a technician program your set to ring on incoming calls.

Are Your socket wired correctly? Pins 3 & 4 on the Socket UK Spec...

Have you tried another Telephone in that Socket for the new extension?...

Are the 'Cursors' Flashing on the phone when pluging in?

You're not forwarding calls, you're TRANSFERRING calls. Try Feature 70.

From the main phone you have to go into admin feature 983 then password 120000 for 2 digit locals 1020000 for 3 digit locals 10020000 for 4 digit locals etc. this gets you in to vmail programming type in the local or mailbox no. then reset password for that mail box which will go back to defult password which is 4 zeros 0000 got it then go to phone and when setting up vmail it will ask you for password enter 0000 then it will ask you to change password enter what you want.
