I have a 27" Frigidaire

If the elements are good and you have checked the obvious connects etc. then it would seem to be the control circuit.

F4 code is displayed and oven beeps continuously

Hello Duane, I am happy to assist you. Typically, error code F4 indicates a lockout error. Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC (electronic oven control) or the Lockout Control Board on the appliance will need replacing.

Frigidaire oven door glass clean inside

Good Morning Suzi - Generally, qualified technicians often perform complicated part replacement such as this, however this may or may not be specifically for your model. Below are generic instructions that I found on how to take your oven door apart to remove any stains that may be caught down in the door vents. Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver or small quad bit driver. A. Open Door remove 2 screws and washers on door lining at door hinge area. B. Refer to owners guide with door in broil stop position lift door assembly off hinges. C. Lay door on table, position so that handle hangs freely over edge of table D. Remove 2 screws and washers that secure handle to lining assembly. E. Remove 8 screws that attach textured steel door wrapper trim to lining assembly 3 at top, 3 at bottom, 1 on each side F. Lift door lining up and out of wrapper trim assembly. G. Lay lining assembly on table with wool shield/inner part of lining facing up. H. Remove 2 glass clamps via 2 screws per clamp. These clamps attach innermost clear glass to wool shield. I. Lift out center clear glass from wool shield, this glass just lays onto the wool shield and is held in place by the glass/ clamps in item H. J. Clean each glass with appropriate cleaner, Windex, bon ami, fantastic, etc K. One glass that remains in door lining assembly can at this time be cleaned without further disassembly the lining assembly. L. Reassemble in reverse order. I hope this information helps to some degree.

Oven door display comes on

Hello mapatt - Are you able to open or latch the door? Try reprogramming the range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. This will clear most false error codes. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately and properly assist with the repairs. The unit could possibly be experiencing a wiring failure, faulty light switch, door latch or EOC.

My oven door is locked.

Hello,

Here are some solution on how to unlock the door of your oven ans do self cleaning below.

IF you can locate the model number tag (bottom left of door opening) you can look up the manual at www.geappliances.com
The only button on your stove that should make the door lock would be the clean button (self clean model) if that is pressed simply hit the clear/off or cancel key and wait for the door to unlock. IF the self clean option ran for an hour or so, you will have to wait for the oven to cool down before the lock can unlock (safety feature).
hope this helps you out please rate this solution it helps get better results for our customers like you

Here are solution on how to clean up your oven below.

Self Cleaning
  • 1 Remove oven racks and soak them in soapy water.
  • 2 Turn on your automatic oven cleaner; this usually entails locking the door and turning the function switch to "clean."
  • 3 Let the oven do its work;it will heat for several hours, charring off baked-on foods.
  • Fast Cleaning

    I turned on the cleaning

If the lock does not open after the oven has cooled down, then try this: First, unplug the range or shut off the circuit breaker for ten minutes. Plug the range back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and try moving the door lock lever or opening the door. Next, set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for twenty minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever or opening the door

My oven doesn't work but the broil and top section

Hi, Sounds like it might be the element. If you shut off the power to the oven and rmove the element some that you can test it. Check and see if the element has any bubbles formed on it like it has burned through. If it lookes ok, test continuity to make sure that it has not breaks in it. If I can help further, please let me know.

    Thanks,Vic
