What is the correct part# for a DLP: Mitsubishi WD60737 60", Serial#139599 Made June 2009?

If your set worked well (no lines, maybe only white or black scattered pixels) before you replaced the DLP chip, then your problem could be that the DLP chip did not get seated properly or the cam screws were not tightened enough after replacing the chip. The DLP chip must be seated properly in its socket or else line and column lines will be seen. There is also the possibility that the DLP chip is defective or suffered static damage while being handled during the installation. Hope this helps.

How do I get rid of smudges on WD73642 screen.seems to be right in the glass

Hello. There are three places smudges that are seen in the picture can be found on a projection TV, the lens, the screen, and most likely, the mirror, but none can be discounted. All three can be accessed by removing the bezel and screen assembly. Most of the screws are around the edges from the back, and some are under the flap that hides the front controls. Good luck!

I replaced a dlp chip in a mitsubishi tv. i now have a band 4" high with vertical bars in it, running across the screen. what is wrong?

Hello. I have replaced many DLP chips, as I work for a repair shop. I have seen similar symptoms when the chip isn't seated properly in the mount. There is a gray screw that should be loosened to remove the chip, and tightened when the new one is installed. Most importantly, you must make sure that the chip is seated flat in the socket before tightening the gray screw. Since you have done it once, you should have no problem correcting the issue! ??

Mitsubishi tv WD-73640 wont turn on. 4 red light then 8 yellow lights

Hi, if you power your TV on and see a black or grey screen, it may be on the incorrect input. Inputs get changed when switching the TV input for dvds or video game consoles. Look for a Source or TV Video button on your TV remote, not the cable remote. Before doing this, please make sure all connections are secure. I hope this helps or reply with more questions.
