Hi, if you power your TV on and see a black or grey screen, it may be on the incorrect input. Inputs get changed when switching the TV input for dvds or video game consoles. sounds as if you may need to degauss (remove residual magnetic field) your set, such magnetism can cause the final image to become distorted. many televisions have a degauss utility in their menues
Hello, count the blinking light pattern. It may blink 2 to 9 times, pause and repeat the pattern again. Does it ever light the screen when it's cycling on and off? Let me know....tks
