You can get what is called a scan converter to convert a digital signal to an analog but you will not be viewing a digital signal. To view a true digital signal you need a digital tv that has a resolution of 720P or higher. Most TVS are 1080P standardize which is the most common.

depends what remote you got

Broksonic TV • Answered on May 09, 2012

since you have confirmed that the remote is working, then it means the problem lies with the TV.

There is a sensor in the TV that communicates with the remote. If this sensor is defective, the remote won't communicate with the TV.

The TV sensor might have loosed contact from inside of the TV or it maybe defective and need to be replaced.

If the above is contrary to your question, please let me know and make your question very clear in the case.
