Need to replace the pump which isnt worth doing because the heating element gets very gooked up and needs to be replaced also. Try a dry carpet cleaning product from Oreck or Sebo.

What worked for me is - put some water into the dirty water tank before you run it. My experience was, if I ran the machine with an empty dirty water tank, it stayed empty and didn't pull in any dirty water. If I put a little water in it beforehand, it helped seal the suction and get the thing started. Hope this helps!

There is almost certainly too much resistance somewhere in the machine's air flow. It could be that the filter (if fitted) needs a clean (or even replacing) or the bag/dust reservoir are full. If all ok, check that none of the tubes are blocked. (The air is being forced out of the relief channel due to resistance in the normal 'through flow' of air.)

I think you should take it to the manufacturer that made this product, so that their maintenance department can have a look at it and fix it.

If the thermal switch is less than the size of a piece of Chicklet chewing gum, it likely mounts either inside the motor, or attaches to the side of the motor. Check on line for a parts diagram. It may help you figure out where the switch goes.

This is obvious so if you tried this I'm sorry. The nozzles are probably plugged with dirt. Try cleaning the nozzles with a straightened paperclip and wash out the unit.

There could be a number of problems, one that the collection tank is not aligned properly. 2. Removable nozzle installed improperly. 3.Removable nozzle full of debris. 4 Red lint screen under collection tank clogged. 5.The collection tank is full. The answer to the first one is: Check tank alignment and secure with side latches. The answer to the second one is Unplug unit. Align two "hooks" into bottom first, then snap into place on top. The answer for third one is:Unplug unit. Remove nozzle and rinse under running water. The solution for 4. is:Remove debris from lint screen. And the solution for 5. is Empty tank

Have you seated the clean tank properly? That could be the problem.
